after hearing rave reviews for this, i was expecting a lot from it. this was by now means bad at all, but i was a bit underwhelmed. i thought gibbs had a great performance on this LP, but the production disappointed me.

old, flawed review that i need to update. i was too busy trying to compare this album with Madvillainy when listening, instead of appreciating it for the separate project that it is. Madlib is a GOAT producer and this album has great production.
