praise all that is holy, we got a surprise "new" project from kendrick lamar. in the past year, the compton rapper has risen to legendary status after his masterpiece, to pimp a butterfly, spread worldwide and recieved almost unanimous critical acclaim. and now lamar released a project of b sides that are presumably throwaways from his last LP. and every single one of them is great. i can totally understand why none of them made the cut: they just dont have the same warm charged and politically conscious topics, but have the same jazzy instrumentals. one of my favorite tracks has got to be untitled 07, and that was produced by a 5 year old, swizz beats and alicia keys' son to be exact. crazy how kendrick even starts up next-generation kids now as well. terrific album, will definitely be added to the growing list of classics dropped by kendrick.
fav tracks: untitled 05, untitled 02, and the first half of untitled 07
