not bjork's best, but far from her worst. the production is as good as it ever has been, with many of her classic electronic beats used and string instruments, as well as unconventional materials such as music boxes. bjork has some really great tracks, but also some rather boring ones as well (hidden place). overall, could bjork have done better? of course, but comapred to the other pop albums of it's time, vespertine is still bounds ahead of its competition.
