Maybe my least favorite Lana album, but still really great. Some of these songs drag a little bit but there are moments of intense moments of beauty. Terence loves you is a high point for me, the second half of the album seems to dip into that “good” territory that is so rare for Lana, as she is usually amazing to perfect to my ears.
Honeymoon is only a slight dip in her discography, I will always return to Salvatore and Terence. But I do think this has the most average batch of ... read more
So many classic, perfect songs on this album. I loved this when I was 12, I love it now.
There’s only 2-3 songs on here I don’t care for, everything else are 10 out of 10 classic masterpieces that I will be listening to as long as I’m on this earth. Such a solid debut from one of my favorite artists.
I hear the flaws that everyone points out on this record, but the songs are still so great despite them. The big blown out pop choruses, the Americana bike rider vibe, her high ... read more
Really solid. Not really my style, so I probably won’t ever revisit. But he does what he does well and this album executes what it’s going for well.
A very adventurous album with a lot of creative ideas. I feature choices interesting, and thought it was admirable that even with all of the sonic variation throughout the album it still felt very cohesive.
With that being said, a lot of these songs are kind of a mixed bag.
Songs like yosh, the intro, step beach, real love and the outro are all really unique and quality songs. They’re so different form each other, all different genres, but they have similar production elements and ... read more
Peaceful, atmospheric, colorful, cute, cheerful, relaxing and surprisingly instrumentally complex, varied and interesting.
Clairo’s songwriting skills are sharper and more emotionally vulnerable than ever before. “Charm” is the perfect word to sum this album up.
This album sounds like a cup of coffee beside a fireplace in the middle of a winter storm with your favorite book.
She has always been one of my favorite female voices in all of music, and her unique vocal timbre ... read more
Eh
Some of it was cool
Some of it was absolutely dog shit
The jelly roll feature made me cringe so hard, my fiancé heard it from the other room and came in laughing. So I know I’m not the only one who had that reaction :/ hate that the most serious song made me react that way.
Mixed bag. 13 year old me would’ve loved boomer shady
A but of a mixed bag, but these songs fit the sound of chaos really well and I thought mewto; leather jacket and overseas were all really great. The beats alone on all of these are enough reason to revisit
This album moved me to tears more than once. A very powerful folk-country album by one of the best living songwriters.
The atmosphere, the passion, the melodies and the lyrics are just so so so amazing. This is by far his best work, I love everything about this album from the theme to the way Bryan structures these songs. A few of them feel like a poetic stream of co consciousness tied together with a very minimal hook. These songs feel so personal at times it feels like I’m talking to a ... read more
I have the awareness that this is bad, it feels like she’s pandering and copying other girls in the industry to be artsy and different. Some of the songs are very bland and boring, but there are other songs on here I just can’t help but really like.
The title track, Carti song, drake song, lil nas x song and were all really fun and I can’t help but like it even though I think her performances are pretty forgettable even when this album is at his best.
Every other song and ... read more
EDIT:
Nvm, ts boring asf
This is a wonderful, beautiful album from two artists I would’ve never thought would go together. I was skeptical on the first song, as much as I liked it I was feeling like it was more of a James Blake vibe with yachty doing his best to fit in.
But by the end of track two I was sold. They went places sonically I don’t think I’ve ever heard before and I feel like they brought something out of each other that you don’t hear on their solo ... read more
As creative, powerful, forward thinking and hard as ever. Loved the guitar in the second half.
I’m only rating the new 3 songs, they are fucking bangers. The last two are definitely up to par quality-wise with the rest of the album. I see why they didn’t make the cut though, they would have all really stuck out.
Guess is the dirtiest song I’ve ever heard from her and she really pulls it off. It’s a sexy club banger that is like a more raunchy Kesha.
Spring breakers is a fucking anthem, so much fun.
These beats are HARD
these rhymes are HARD
This album is fucking SICK. So much fun to crank up in my car. Feel like I’m back in the 90’s. Highly impressed with this
The first half of this album was some of the best art pop I’ve heard this decade. a beautiful start, the first track, and many of the songs after it, gave me goosebumps and I felt her angelic vocals deep in my soul. She wrote some really beautiful songs on this album and it really blew me away
Sadly the second half doesn’t hold up as well as the first which makes this album not feel as conceptual or as strong… but I’m now a fan and she has such great potential.

I went into this wanting a hard hitting, industrial inspired, ag cook-produced banger of a dance/club album.
And that’s exactly what I got, but this album has so much more heart than I expected. These songs are so well written, this might be the only album I have ever heard that’s so fun to dance to yet also so personal.
These songs are written beautifully and the production is mind bending. You can just get lost in these beats.
Helped me forget about all of the issues of my ... read more
This one had to grow on me some, it’s a really catchy well-rounded pop song that is kind of tame & normal compared to the other singles… but it fits the other batch of tracks really well and is kind of the much needed normalcy it brings to the bunch.
The so Julia line doesnt work imo though but I’m a 24 yo white guy so who cares
