Just a batch of really well written metal songs. Continuing their streak of really solid albums that push the genre forward.
Sweet Leaf is one of the most unexpected weed smoking songs of all time. The gospel song is in a really weird place here but eh, that’s the only real low point for me
Too short, but very solid and full of energy. I am loving this new wave of country
This album is so weird. Like, more weird than a lot of people give it credit for. I know a lot of people that hate this album. But for me it really works.
The delicate, soft soundscape paired with really catchy and well written songs make this album a joy to listen to every time I revisit it.
There are songs here (such as breezeblocks) that I have overplayed but that doesn’t make them any less amazing. Taro has one of the best song concepts I’ve ever heard and hand made is the ... read more
This album has really grown on me with time. It’s like an ambient pop exploration that doesn’t really venture out into too many directions but really goes deep into its meditative sound.
Rain in Cups and the title track are so soothing and beautiful.
And there’s a song about trump worked in here? Animal collective are liberal woke snowflakes? Who would’ve thought ? /s
I thought the song was “I remember learning how to drive” because of the Spotify typo. I’m so confused and lost.
Beautiful album.
This album has THE best prog rock song of all time on it. The rest of it is really cool too, but it all lives in the shadow of echoes. This is the echoes album.
A very overlooked bundle of joy and masterclass songwriting in their discography.
Such a powerful exploration of love, infidelity, family, self empowerment, and womanhood.
I think this is Beyoncé’s best work of art. I gained so much respect for her in 2016 when I first heard this.. instead of throwing her hands up and leaving her family she stayed, worked through it and made art out of it.
This album is fucking great.
Although not an easy listen, I found myself really enjoying it when I was about halfway through. With every repeated listen this album becomes easier to unpack and more beautiful to my ears.
It kind of reminds me of Cocteau Twins if they had a more gothic rock/spooky psychedelic sound.
A groundbreaking album that pioneered the sound of psychedelic rap. There are several songs on here that I’m not crazy about and I never come back to, but there are also so many classic songs on here that will never get old.
This was not only my last introduction to rocky, but my introduction to a lot of the sounds in modern hip hop as this was one of the first albums I ever got when I was 12.
The intro and fuckin problems are my favorites here
This is one of the best produced hip hop albums I’ve ever heard. I grew up loving the Beastie Boys hits, so during my discography deep dive I was absolutely shocked to find such a masterpiece in their catalog with no noticeable hits.
These are some of the best beats and the best uses of samples I’ve ever heard in music period. The song ideas were fun and interesting, their chemistry is truly lightening in a bottle and the energy they bring to every track is so much fun.

Cold, dark, beautiful, atmospheric yet full of life. I had no idea what to expect listening to this, but I was really blown away. Ian Curtis’s poetry paired with the dark vibe a lot of these songs have really make for a eerie listen at times (especially with the context about his suicide…)
The percussion and the guitars are by far my favorite aspect of this album, I felt addicted to the guitar tones on many of these songs and the drumming felt so tight and really fit the ... read more
The first 3 songs are unironically the best stretch of music Joey has ever made. The third song was an absolute banger. Sadly the songs after those 3 fell off for me, and the last song was a strong finish but not as strong as the first three.
His sleepy rapping and very unique… almost ambient production really work well to put the listener into a meditative state. Some of these lyrics were really poetic and I thought the producer tags added to every song. This is a solid EP, not as good ... read more
