Peak Drake. The infusion of r&b and hip hop here is something to marvel at. His pen game, the atmosphere, the hits, the deep cuts. This album is a masterpiece and the soundtrack to my teen years. Wutang forever and pound cake are two of my favorite hip hop songs ever, I really think this album is underrated sometimes because it deserves so much respect for being a modern classic full of quality songs. Hold on we’re going home makes me tear up when it comes on, I remember being 13 ... read more
Wow. Everything here outside of the hits really sucks. This was unlistenable, I disliked it way more than I tonight I would.
Skibidi toilet brought me here and I’m convinced it’s the better version.
It’s a great song. Solid verses and great beat. That hook just drives me crazy though. It works as the major hit from this album
My favorite doja cat song ever. I love the beat, the Playboi Carti-level-of-energy hook and the verses are so catchy and unique.
I see this song getting a lot of hate and I get it, but to me this song takes a lot of risks that work shockingly well. I have had this on repeat, the scary vibe she’s going for actually fits the creepy instrumental and strange tone of her voice during the verses. I like it.
So many genres and interesting sonic choices come together to create one of the best debut albums of the 2020’s this far. This album is so much fun. That’s one of the highest compliments I can give an album; it never gets boring and I enjoy every single second of its runtime. Her voice is so addictive, I walk around with songs like angels in Tibet, sociopathic dance queen and co-star (which is currently my favorite pop song this year) stuck in my head all day.

Some of the best song writing I’ve ever heard. This album is very cohesive and these songs are intriguing to me for so many different reasons. The way she approaches the very deep subject matter (alcoholism, regrets) head on with the lyrics sometimes reading like what I’d imagine her actual stream of consciousness would sound like if she was sitting alone in her room thinking that she doesn’t like herself; to her using a really beautiful metaphor about missing a person the ... read more
A psychedelic hip hop masterpiece. An artistic peak for both Kanye and cudi, and imo the best kid cudi has ever sounded, period.
I absolutely love the cover and I think the music matches it so well it’s almost eerie.
I love every single song here, the only weak track in the bunch to me is fire, but I can’t even really articulate why. It just doesn’t do much for me even though I appreciate its inclusion as something or a transitional piece. Songs like reborn, cudi montage ... read more
Too repetitive and not really creative or interesting to me outside of a few instrumental passages and a few vocal performances here and there from Zillakami. They’ve been doing this sound for years now and it’s just so unbelievably stale at this point.
Sitting through this was torture
I’ve been a fan of anything I’ve heard from Hannah diamond for several years now, so when I saw that she was releasing an EP I was really excited. I was expecting some forward thinking, futuristic sound smooth hyperpop or at least something that would stick out as creative. That’s not what this is.
It’s enjoyable, for the most part; but it’s painfully boring. Affirmations is about as awful as pop gets, but the other three songs were like it charli xcx was just ... read more
A beautiful mess with some of his best songs (come to life, believe what I say) and some of his worst (ok ok, Jonah).
The highs are extremely high and the lows really aren’t all that low. The part 2’s are mostly unnecessary, but I still find this album to have great replayability and it seems to move me emotionally more than any other Kanye album. Come to life, 24 and life of the party have all made me cry in multiple occasions. Off the grid is probably my most listened to Kanye ... read more
Even though this album is great, it was clearly the beginning of the greatest decline in all of hip hop. What I thought in 2013 were just silly little issues I had with this album (and this album only) such as the pop features, the dad jokes, the weird flows, the Boeing subject matter etc.. turned out to be actual cracks in his armor that just expanded into whatever Revival was.
But when strictly looking at the music, a lot of the music here is really great. This is one of Eminem’s last ... read more
A classic from an artist who has really grown off of me. When I was 14 this album was scripture to me, it will always hold a place in my heart because of that. Even if a lot of his music is corny/boring to me now (wet dreams and love yourz as two examples of this).
I think apparently, fire squad and no role models are great hip hop songs and the feeling of nostalgia I get when revisiting this is crazy. Takes me back to my first every girlfriend freshman year of high school, this was the ... read more
You know, I’m not really huge on this. To be honest, I don’t really like it.
I am giving it a higher score just because I see that the writing is creative/solid and the story is really interesting and well written.
On paper this album is incredible. I just don’t like a lot of these songs. The chorus’s are awful, his voice doesn’t really draw me in a lot of the time and the singer who shows up more than once (Ronald regan era singer) has a voice that I seriously ... read more
The album of a generation. Punk rap at its best. The energy on this album is infectious, I listen to this album so much it’s unbelievable.
This album is more effective for me than coffee. If I need to get amped up or wake up quick I just play on that time or stop breathing.
This album gives me chills regularly. I love its aesthetic, I love his voice and attitude, I love his lyrics and just everything about this album. Obviously some tracks are MUCH stronger than others, but this is one ... read more
Barefoot, mile high, assume form, can’t believe, and I’ll come too are some of his best songs ever.
This tracklist is full of songs that are masterpieces; then a few that are bland. But even the bland songs here are so well produced it doesn’t ruin the listening experience of the album.
Blake’s whispery vocals paired with the atmospheric, ethereal and soft production give this album a certain magic that not any other Blake albums have. A lot of his best songs are here, ... read more
A great singer-songwriter album from James Blake. I much prefer his electronic music, but his voice is so beautiful and these songs are so well written that this really works. I never go back to anything here, but the title track had something magical to it.
I wish there were a little more variation between the tracks and I really don’t care for many of the features on this LP but it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a soft, whispery, singer/songwriter LP from Blake.
The soundtrack to my high school in Mineral Wells Texas. I was at Lil Peep’s last concert. RIP to a modern legend, this is a solid album. It’s not his best, but for some reason it feels like his biggest/most important. There are great songs here and a few songs that are meh, but the spirit of this album is solid and respectable.
