If Burial and Lil Peep made an album together this is how it would sound.
The production here suits lil peep’s voice so well and the song writing is steps above anything you’ll find in a regular lil peep project.
I was a huge fan of peep when I was younger and I can’t believe I’ve never heard this. This EP is an absolute treat and made me feel deep feelings of nostalgia for my youth. Peep’s vocals are mixed kind of weird on some of the songs but I think it kind ... read more
My favorite modern shoegaze album. The production is otherworldly and this guy really poured is heart out on this songs.
No idea what he’s saying of course, but his voice really blends well with the ethereal and dreamy production to make what is my personal favorite shoegaze album so far of the 2020’s.
The intro track is my favorite song here; holy shit it’s amazing.
This is an unexpectedly high quality jazz album that seamlessly merges both drum & bass and IDM influences in a way that is both peaceful and exciting. Songs like Now I’m Lost and Rising are truly some of the best new jazz I’ve heard this year. When the fast tempo drum patterns kick in on tracks like moon (which is handedly my favorite song here and has a Jersey-Club breakdown towards the end the fast squeaking, it all comes together so well.) and That Feeling it merges with the ... read more
This may just not be my genre. I really loved gravity and the intro had a really interesting structure and atmosphere. I like her voice but a lot of this just felt bland to me.
Definitely pretty good for a short little r&b album with a handful of strong songs but I doubt I’ll ever come back to this.
Kanye’s most creative album. With each passing year I find myself loving this album more and more. It’s another artistic peak for Kanye, on the same level of quality as MBDTF or college dropout. I love every single song here except for fade, saint Pablo is my favorite album closer of all time and no more parties in LA has to be top 10 hip hop songs ever made.
Famous is probably my most listened to Kanye song, and the juxtaposition of religion and his hedonistic lifestyle actually ... read more

It’s grown on me a lot. His goofy vocal inflections and catchy songs have been in my head all day. The first half of this album is much stronger than the second half, but I’ll be revisiting songs like impossible, uhh, you thought, mood swings and neighborhood for a long time. I love how fun and charismatic they are, I wish the second half was just as strong. The last song’s bass drop is still cringey and too much (and not in a good way). This album is camp as ... read more
I really really loved this. The slower songs are cool, with vampire definitely the being the best of those, but the high energy songs are something I wasn’t expecting to love this much. They all work so well, her attitude and the tongue in cheek lyrics paired with the upbeat and youthful instrumentation made for a very fun listen.
The slower songs aren’t really my cup of tea but they’re still solid, she more than outdid her last album. It’s like she took the high ... read more
Absolutely brilliant. Unlike anything I’ve ever heard, the atmosphere on this album is very spacious and dissonant while also luscious and sharp between the break beats and the robotic synths.
His voice is rarely here, and when it is it’s being used as an instrument. There are only maybe 3 “traditional” songs where he sings the whole time, and even those songs are full of vocal manipulation to convey his very human emotions in a vapid and robotic way.
This album feels ... read more
Solid cudi album. Nothing crazy, just good kid cudi songs. Kind of bland at times with glimpses of what made the first MOTM so special.
It sadly doesn’t reach any of those heights, but it doesn’t really need to. These songs are good, it proves cudi still has it. And that’s more than most artists this far into their career can do.
Sadly, every album after this one seems to be on a downward trajectory so it makes me appreciate the highlights here so much more. Tequila shots ... read more
It’s bad, but I at least respect it. But what the fuck is this thing lol
Extremely underrated . There are some really weird, creative, psychedelic songs on here.
In my eyes this is Cudi’s most recent artistic peak. These songs give me such a deep and eerie feeling. I love most of this album. Some of the darkest and most ethereal songs in his whole catalogue.
Releaser, kitchen, by design, baptized in fire, dance 4 eternity, Mature nature and swim in the light are amazing.
The production is top tier, probably my favorite produced cudi album since motm2. ... read more
Glistening, addictive, relaxing, 90’s nostalgia. It’s like the most glittery alternative pop album I’ve heard in years with a psychedelic twist that makes it feel otherworldly.
It took the most amount of relistens for me to grasp what was happening with it than any other album this year. I’m really not sure why, but I knew there was something I was missing my first two listens because I just didn’t get it.
Now I can’t get enough of it, and there is ... read more
On stage screaming like rage against the machine !!!
So much anger, passion, poetry, and sick fucking riffs combined with a political message that resonates so deeply with me I get chills. This is truly a masterpiece in every sense of the word.
I was listening to this when I was 8 years old and absolutely fucking loved it as a kid. Revisiting it at 23 and I can confidently say this is the greatest rap-metal album I’ve ever heard. Can’t wait to listen to their sophomore album. ... read more

But I love dev lemons and if she ever decides to manufacture queef jerky I will make it a part of my daily diet and hide it from my girlfriend
Shoegaze meets metal in the best way
This is fucking amazing. The most beautiful metal album I’ve ever heard. Jesus Christ what the fuck
EDIT 60->71 then back to 68………….
This is a good example of why it’s important to revisit albums a few times. There’s still a few I’m not huge on, but doubt and Healmode are fucking amazing. His voice has really grown on me, this is a really really good album!
As Brad taste in music would say: Smiley ball

Sounded like a boring southern Alex G. Sandhills and the outro were the only two songs here I really thought were around average. Kind of disappointed, I saw toro live a few months ago and it was an amazing show.
Hoping the next album feels a little more inspired.
One of the best voices in not only modern country, but country as a whole. I realized while listening to this album that Zach’s strong point, what makes him an amazing artist, isn’t so much his voice.
Don’t get me wrong, he has a nice voice and it gets his emotion across well while sounding equal parts gritty and clean most of the time, but it’s his lyrics and the song writing that really sells his music for me. It’s apparent immediately with the intro poem which ... read more
Kafka-esque cockroach hip hop music with punk rock and dance influences with an Australian voice narrating this character portrait of the cockroach struggling to exist and fighting with god. It doesn’t really sound like something I’d be interested in and it sounds too convoluted to actually be musically fun or interesting; but that’s not the case.
The songs here are good to great; with freakboy and tied up being some of my favorite songs in the hip hop genre to come out this ... read more
