Beautiful beyond words. I discovered this around 3 in the morning when I couldn’t sleep and I put on my headphones, turned up the volume and closed my eyes.
I was immersed to the point of feeling like I was lifted from my body and having some kind of psychedelic experience. I was in between an awake and dream state; I remember colors swirling and light dreams following the sounds that were present. This was the best listening experience I’ve had with an album all year.

While I wouldn’t argue that this is Richard’s objective best (whatever that means) it’s DEFINITELY my favorite work of his. Flim and IZ-US are, in my opinion, two of his best songs. Flim is probably top 3 (or top 1) and IZ is probably top 10 or 15. Which is saying something because Aphex Twin has a vast discography.
Every remix of Come To Daddy on this EP are extremely unique and they all bring something of quality to the table. The intro is scary and insane, the faulteroy ... read more
So complex and beautiful. Aphex Twin at his best.
The slower piano ballads serve as a great juxtaposition with the faster percussive IDM tracks. Both styles are equally beautiful and they come together to create one of his most interesting and most cohesive albums. I could hear any of these tracks and instantly know that it belongs on this album because of how unique his production style is here.
The whirling and speeding beep boops and noisy percussion and beautiful piano arrangements make ... read more
No matter what words I string together here, I’m not even going to scratch the surface of what I wish to say about this perfect piece of abstract art rock. Kid A is so spacious and eerie but at the same time so complex and beautiful.
The opening track always leaves me with a feeling of awe that just increases and increases as the album goes on until I have chills all over my arms and tears rolling down my face. Usually by Idioteque or How to Disappear Completely. When I first heard this ... read more
Musical perfection. Every song here is nothing less than perfect, the culmination of these songs create one of the most mystical and transcendental pieces of music I’ve ever heard. Close your eyes, put on some good headphones and let this album just take you somewhere else.
This is peak music. It doesn’t get much better than this.
This was a solid hip hop album that had some really cool 90’s rap influence that kept me intrigued for the whole listen.
But a lot of the songs felt very chaotic and is not really my style of listening so I don’t think I’ll be coming back to anything outside of maybe the first 3-4 tracks.
I didn’t like this at first, but a couple listens later I think it’s kind of a mixed bag full of near perfect tracks (the outro, wfld and BET) and songs I thought were just average.
Luckily the weak tracks here are pretty short and there’s only like 3 of them. I think the skeletal beats here really work well with eagle’s autobiographical lyrics.
That’s what this feels like, a really brief autobiography, and for what it is it’s really great. He has some ... read more
Lots of passion and vigor in his voice over these really nice and introspective beats. Sitting Ducks is one of my favorite hip hop songs of the year. This album is short and has a lot of replay value and nothing here is outright bad, just quality hip hop songs.
This isn’t really boundary pushing in any way but Jenkin’s voice and writing skills make this a personal listen that never causes the listener to feel disengaged. Its tight runtime works in its benefit because there ... read more

Man I was tripping with this review hahah. Every song here is a perfect 10 except for land locked blues and another traveling song, which are still really great. This album is fucking amazing poetry.
One of the best written albums in its genre with classic songs on it that I grew up listening to constantly back in my emo days such as Lua, the into track and first day of my life.
Revisiting it I am even more impressed with the lyrics now that I can relate much deeper to its ... read more
The best jazz rap album of all time. Addicting flows, godlike lyricism and one of the best produced records across any genres ever. There’s nothing I can say about this album that hasn’t been said millions of times.
Believe the hype. It lives up to/surpasses its reputation. There isn’t a dull moment here. I’m not really into much old hip hop, and even as a kid when I tried listening to this it bored me. I was more into old Eminem and 2013 Kanye at the time and needed ... read more
Beautiful melodies on every song here. Reminds me a lot of The Beach Boys. There was nothing here that was spectacular but it was just a really soothing and relaxing listen. Makes for amazing background music in the best way.
This is soft rock done right.
I was going to make a review picking this apart but I won’t. I feel like that’s punching down, I like Tuv but I don’t think music is for him based on these three albums. He should be writer or a film maker.
There was just nothing here that was unique or grabbed my attention at all. If the production had some interesting stops or weird noise segments or just something off the wall so weird and creative that only he gets it I would’ve liked this a lot more. It just felt ... read more
My favorite migos related project in years and a wonderful tribute to takeoff, these songs were surprisingly substantive and Quavo sounds very passionate on every song here.
The beats were nothing special but BNYX definitely added his flavor to the tracklist and gave this album an extra w that it that much more interesting. I thought some of the song ideas and hooks were clever (especially the into track, that may be my favorite Quavo song ever).
Wall to wall also had a beat that I wanted to ... read more
This is unironically really great. Makes me feel like I’m floating with the enteral production and the vocals are very smooth and almost work as an ambient instrument,
I really love a lot of these lyrics too, these guys are up next
Eminem goes pop. My review cannot be as current as all of my other reviews, if this came out today I’d fucking hate it. It’s not a great album musically and there are awful ideas all over here.
But this was MY album when I was 10-11. I listened to it religiously until I was about 14. I know every syllable, and revisiting it I really dislike the ones I just I think are awful but I still really enjoy the ones that I liked beck then (talking 2 myself, cold wind blows, no love ... read more
I actually think this is just a little bit more consistent than side A. Side A has higher highs in my opinion, but it’s lows (which is really just tone deaf and she loves me) are nowhere near side A’s lows.
The rapping on songs like Alfred’s theme or book of rhymes gets extremely grating to my ears after the 3rd minute and he just keeps going and going. Then there’s songs like black magic that that feel generic until Eminem throws some passion into the verse and makes ... read more
