This project was some random album a friend showed me and I checked out it again just to see what I felt about it. This album is very warm feeling with the quiet sound on here and it's feels very relaxing but filled with energy at parts of it even in that peacefulness of the music. Unpopular opinion: I don't get why people like this album so much.
I listened to this whole project and just felt like it was a decent project. There are some good parts of the music on here but I just thought a lot of the track were just pretty okay. The production from James Ford on here is quite nice on here and I enjoyed the vocal performances from Dave Gahan but there just wasn't a lot going on for me to enjoy the project that much. This album is over an hour long and throughout that hour all the songs were just pretty good. I wasn't expecting to like this record but I can see why people find it great. I feel like this album isn't mind-blowing or really that emotionally hitting for me to understand it on that level of calling it great but I still enjoy the music on here.
