Honestly not understanding the hype... Sure it's a fairly pretty and pleasing dreamy indie folk album that doesn't try to be anything more, but it lacks much substance or backbone.

honestly i don't pay much attention to lyrics as they just don't impact my enjoyment of an album most of the time, but they seemed decent @WildChameleon

I see why you definitely don't dig into this album, and I think it's comprehensible. The arrangement are detailed but not overhelming or bold because it's more melted to the pace of the way she sings and the lyrics themselves. In this style, they absolutely did the right choices but it's not a burst in the face.

Yeah this kind of thing generally isn't for me. When it comes to folk I tend to prefer the cleaner and less dreamy side of things.
