Slipknot - All Hope Is Gone

The title is very accurate, it sounded like if all the hope that this album was gonna be decent at best was gone. I think this was the most boring album of theirs at the moment, everything sounded basic and very lame and that’s one thing I can’t forgive to anything, being boring AF. Idk how this came out after Subliminal Verses because that album was pretty good and this feels like if they had an backlash from the fans complaining that they weren’t heavy anymore and this album was their “respond” to prove them wrong, forgetting everything that they created in their previous album which was more diverse and interesting to listen to, it was a lot more dynamic and artistic and this just feels like Iowa and Subliminal Verses leftovers. I think it is safe to say that this album was very dissapointing and now I’m scared to listen to the last 2 albums of theirs, but for the sake of finishing things I’ll power through.
