Thanks for 100 followers! I didn’t think that many people would follow me.

In celebration of this achievement, I decided to review my favorite album of all time, Loveless. Since it’s release 30 years ago, Loveless has been known as the most essential shoegaze album and is one of the most acclaimed records of all time. To begin, My Bloody Valentine had to develop their sound in multiple projects before releasing their masterpiece. They started out as a generic post-punk band, to ... read more

Just finished my last exam an hour ago; I fucking hate chemistry. I had a review for Future Nostalgia, but my thoughts on it were just all over the place and looked scattered.

Future Nostalgia is a fascinating album that borrows elements from 70s, 80s, 90, and ‘00s pop music while still sounding modern and futuristic. When listening to pop music, sometimes music reviewers need to stop thinking they’re “special snowflakes” for liking the most obscure albums in existence, ... read more

Journey Into Hip Hop, No. 4

I’m speechless... the only thing keeping me from giving this a 100 is that I only gave this one listen. The production is amazing, lyricism is amazing, the group’s flow is amazing, the whole album is just amazing!

RIP MF DOOM, he will forever be known as a legend.

Journey Into Hip Hop, No. 3
I hate that I’m just now starting to listen to MF DOOM’s music and wish I knew more about him. MF DOOM and Madlib are a perfect duo, with Madlib’s amazing production complimenting MF DOOM’s impressive lyricism. There is also so many quotable lines on here, and I love the supervillain theme on the album. I’m assuming MF DOOM’s discography has a supervillain alter ego, so I’m ... read more

Journey Into Hip Hop, No. 2

Happy New Years Eve. What can I say? It’s Illmatic, the most legendary rap album. This is one of the few albums that I have thoroughly enjoyed on a first listen, so I’m gonna have a lot of fun listening to 90s rap for the first time. I realized that hip hop is a difficult genre for me to review since I’m new to the genre, but I’ll figure out how to give proper reviews in the future.

On a side note, I know the cover is iconic, but it’s ... read more

The final song of an album is one of the most important things to it. To make you feel satisfied, an album closer has to look at everything an album has done and say, "Hey, how am I going to make a satisfying ending to this story?" Album closers are incredibly hard to execute and many don't feel how they should. It takes a lot of talent for an artist to wrap up their own piece of work effectively and make a listener feel satisfied.

Which leads me to my question: what is your favorite album closer/finale of all time and why?

About
When I signed up, I did not know what to put for my username, so I just typed a bunch of letters.

I suck at reviewing albums, but I try my best.

My ratings on rym are outdated; Iโ€™m too lazy to fix them.

I edit my bio and pfp a lot.
