Fiona Apple Binge Part 5

THIS IS A FUCKING CRAZY MASTERPIECE
There’s probably not a lot of people who will see this review as it will be buried under the hundreds of reviews given to Fetch the Bolt Cutters, but goddamn this is Fiona’s masterpiece and one of my favorite albums. This review is coming from someone looking back at this album after listening to it around 20 times.

Fetch the Bolt Cutters was my introduction to Fiona Apple. I was always planning on listening to her ... read more

I don’t understand the hype, this is really mid.
I appreciate the electronic/industrial elements on Post Human: Survival Horror. I also have to give bmth credit for trying to bring back alternative metal and nu metal resulting in a heavy album. However, this does not stop this from being a generic metalcore album and also comes of as trying to be “edgy”. It’s a shame I didn’t like this because the album cover is cool.

I haven’t listened to anything by yungblud and I’m gonna keep that way. Nothing you can do or say will make me listen to this.

Wow... This is fucking amazing!
This is my first Run the Jewels album, and considering how much praise this has gotten, I came into this album with high expectations, and was far from disappointed. If Fiona Apple didn’t drop ftbc in 2020, this would be my aoty. The production sounds amazing, Killer Mike and El-P sound amazing, and the lyrical content is extremely relevant today. This is flawless; I really need to listen to more hip hop. RTJ4 might be a 100 in the future.

What a great pop album!

Before I became interested in music, I obviously knew who Carly Rae Jepsen was because of her hit single, Call Me Maybe. I also remembered “I Really Like You”, but I had no idea that she became an indie darling. Out of all the career trajectories she could have went after being a one-hit wonder, becoming one of the most beloved pop stars of the past couple of years was unlikely. I just kind of thought she disappeared or her music career tanked. Emotion has ... read more

One of the most beautiful and well-written albums I’ve ever listened to. This is truly the pinnacle of indie pop.

So let’s say, hypothetically you were up at 3am on a rainy night and it’s really quiet. What album would you proceed to put on for your 3am sad session.
and yeah this is for a list

Hey I’m sorry if this is annoying but me and my friends attempted to make a few ambient songs and we just uploaded our first song to Soundcloud! We would really appreciate it if you could give it a listen! Sorry for self promotion but we’re really looking for feedback - it’s only 90 seconds long :)
