I was first introduced by Count Bass D through the MF DOOM Potholderz feature, and with this being a first introduction to both his prolific production and raps, it did not disappoint. Great features, great flows, amazing sample heavy instrumentals. Perfect.
Another amazing project by DOOM, and in my opinion probably in the top 3 best DOOM albums.
I still think this is the best Kendrick album. The messages throughout the whole album makes each song feel like its own book or story.
"I'll air this bitch out like a queef" Dope album with cool influences from cherry bomb and Igor, some songs felt a little weaker then others though.
I can see the cherry bomb and experimental influences in here, but it just isn't that good.
So glad he finally put this back up on streaming services. It's what really blew Travis up into a new light excluding Owl Pharaoh, and it doesn't disappoint either.
Dope instrumentals, one of the main factors I don't really like about earl is how lazy he sounds throughout his albums.
The 2 bonus tracks are some of the best on this album, no clue why they weren't included on streaming services.
I really don't hear enough people praising Madlib's work he did on here. The mixing of samples, hard drum loops, It really does feel like Albert Einstein reincarnated as a producer.
Just amazing throughout all ways. Doom has such an eerie atmosphere through his voice and raps, and it perfectly complements Madlib's dark and grimy production.
