it's albums like this one that define not just one year in the history of a music genre, but the whole future of it as a whole.
(60->50) While I appreciate the incredible effort Parannoul put into this album, in my opinion he still has to improve in a lot of aspects (mixing and song structures among other things) to make a post-rock and noise album, that doesn't make my ears to just turn off.

Even with the 75 minute runtime, "Hornet Disaster" is an improvement on all fronts from "Come In", especially in the songwriting and production department. While I admit, lo-fi sound is what made Weatherday stand out, I do like the cleaner and more polished sound of this album.
Ichiko Aoba crossed a new threshold of etherealness on "Luminescent Creatures".
a bit more mature and anthemic songwriting helps "Evangelic Girl is a Gun" rise above its predecessor.
the sound needs some polishing and more focus, but production and vocals were great.
A lot of ambition and heart, a lot of effort and some great results. <3
