Edit - 100 -> 99. Continua ... read more
[Editting this as of July 10th. For the past two months or so, I have tried to 'cleanse' myself of this album due to it being that much of a punch in the gut. As much as I love this record to death, it's not something I wish to be tormented by going forward because it really did put a toll in my mental well-being when I returned to it more often than I should. I don't wish to completely erase it from my life - in fact, I do come back to and plan on continuing to return to ... read more
Relistened today but my score is still roughly the same.
By far the best peggy album and it's not even close. Production on par with offline! dare I say and his most entertaining work that I don't really get bored of easily. The first half is near perfect and the features are spot on. One of the most fun and replayable stuff I've ever heard.
Why's it not a 100? Because he does the same shit wannabe tough rappers do with the moronic "roaring" that gets me to groan ... read more

Fucking hell.
This album makes me feel like I'm trapped.
I'm trying to keep this rather brief because the more I listen to it, the worse I feel. The Tenth Sub Level of Suicide is the bleakest, most evil thing I've ever heard to a point I can barely begin to put the sheer ... read more

i love peak it together
This is a big improvement in comparison to Keep it Together's earlier works, both in terms of writing and instrumentals. I found out about this last year after listening to Gate 23 that left me really desperate for more music that sounded like it, and this album does that to some extent, though it's definitely got less variety. Still, less variety isn't exactly a negative to me at least - this style is literally perfect to match their energy - the vocals ... read more

Rewrite because this has become one of my favorite albums of all time. I'll seem like a poser no matter what as a newage fan of Nirvana and this album has been praised in every way possible at this point with how iconic it is but I do truly believe it's perfect. I'm not gonna pretend to be the most dedicated grunge fan - in fact, this was ... read more

The hate on this is insane holy.
I listened to this two years ago and it's REALLY special to me so I'm very surprised people dislike this and I don't even think I'm blinded by nostalgia I still listen to it currently. This was my introduction to CSH and my, at the time, fav song of all time. This and some yoshis island demo hit just at the right time and, alongside Twin Fantasy, were really the most lifechanging shit ever to me honestly.
Hot take part 3 on this > part ... read more
Lowkey music you say you like as a way to meet other queer ppl but not actually rlly like it /hj
I'll be real, electropop is definitely not my thing, I've never heard of her before this album and I really do seem to be missing what makes this record be so loved by everyone but this just feels like very standard pop music. The only thing I do recognize as a stand out for is the fact the lyrics aren't generic and I do enjoy them in a few tracks. That said, don't really think ... read more
"I wish it was like how it was before. I don't mind how i'm living take it day by day, the day's almost over but at least I'm awake."
The type of album you just remember how perfect really is every few months. Saw the bandcamp link on the CSH sub - which instantly means the album's gonna be great - and this is undoubtedly one of my favorite albums of all time. Really wish this got more attention because this is honestly my favorite album this year and a work ... read more
Would've been a better album if there weren't random filler tracks that don't really build up to nothing. Really high highs tho, surprisingly great lyricism for one of their earliest works and it's one of the most raw, genuine things I've ever listened to. Saw someone on youtube say beach funeral is what a gay heartbreak sounds like and that's the most accurate description for the entire album honestly lol.
My personal fave is beach death, sad to see it being ... read more
This is the single best song I've listened to ever and it's not even close. Actually perfect song, giving it anything below 100 is outright wrong. The lyricism is perfect, the instrumentals are amazing, the audio quality is amazing and the story line in it is just so good.
From my review on Mirror to Mirror: "I genuinely think Will peaked the first time he wrote the lyrics for Beach Life-in-Death because I don't think it's possible to make anything as good as it.". The song as a ... read more
Absolutely incredible. I genuinely think Will peaked the first time he wrote the lyrics for Beach Life-in-Death because I don't think it's possible to make anything as good as it. The re-recorded version is better, sure (although I can see people disagreeing), but this album as a whole is so raw (in a good way).
A lot of tracks here are better than in Face to Face too. Sober to Death is an actually good song here (personal bias but I DESPISE sober to death FTF), Cute Thing MTM sounds way more ... read more
"I am almost completely soulless. I am incapable of being human. I am incapable of being inhuman. I am living uncontrollably."
I usually start reviews for my favorite albums by quoting my favorite lyrics and in all honesty, that was way harder than it should with this one. Every single word in Beach Life-in-Death is a strong contender for that spot and I mean it. I can't get rid of it from my top 3 even if I tried - no matter how much I love other songs with songwritting as ... read more
