The Sessions is a collaborative project between myself and Tom Bejoy, which today has its full-fledged debut, releasing the crazy ass album called: ジェロナグラセッション. In our first piece we went a bit towards ambient/plunderphonics music, using lots of samples, and a recurring theme throughout the album using celesta, such a magical sounding piano.
The Sessions is an amateur project at the moment, but we plan to come back with many more interesting stuff in the future, trying to ... read more

A life affirming, warm and extremely subtle music, full of hope, especially in its sound. Gira's voice grabs my heart on this one, it feels like home, the folk, the simplicity, strange beauty, I can see it, somehow. For many rather dull, maybe just doesn't live up to people's expectations, but I find it more touching than any other Swans album.

Apart from the fact that the vocals and guitars sound absolutely disgusting, there's a lot of cool experimentalism here

With each new release they sound more and more western lmao
Having said that, I think that the title track is better than their last two, but it’s still far from being as good as Butterfly or High High. The b-sides are ok, but the only one i really like is „Dance On My Own”. The ballads are pretty, not as pretty as Fall Again obviously, but well, i don’t mind them, Be Honest sounds like some Megan Trainor Idk, it’s pretty lame imo, but other than that this is ... read more

In many ways it’s quite similar to Lipstick, and I pretty much love it for the same exact reasons. Catchy in a way i like, uplifting, heart-warming, and insanely consistent, without any moments i don’t care about. Good shit, I will call it Lipstick’s mummy

Well, I appreciate that Bowie always manages to have at least one amazing/ideal song on most of his albums. It's just that none of them are consistent in any way, which is obviously his biggest problem.

There is a cat, so that’s cool, but the music is quite meh unfortunately

Definitely my least favourite avant-garde/classical music album I’ve heard up to this point.

This was a really cool project from you Malneezy, and although it's not the type of music I'm too fond of anymore, I can appreciate your skills and ability to create nice, electronic and catchy music.
You are just a good producer with enough knowledge to create whatever you want, just be creative and have fun with it!

This album made me pull out my guitar, which I hadn't used for a few months, and start jamming, playing some random notes along with the music. It was so much fun.

This music is beyond my understanding

Edit: Well, listening to it on the headphones in the darkness is a big deal.

This is like Pulse Demon of classical music, but much more amazing and impressive. At times it sounds brutal, but you can find a lot of beauty in it, immersing yourself in that wonderful rough noise made by the viola. Watching the concert on video was truly a great experience.

Seeing the kids being happy after the performance made my day lol

Who would have guessed that John Lennon's side project with his wife could be better than anything The Beatles had ever released, probably no one, and in fact practically no one thinks so, but well, I do.
When Yoko blows her brains out it sounds better than Paul McCartney, and that's the way it is, it's not his fault.

"Tom, just like what you like, it’s all up to you after all, it’s great to talk about music, to have different opinions, and to try to understand why we all feel different about things that are technically the same for all of us, like music."

"Well, Maybe I’m pretentious after all, If you feel that way it’s alright. I do think though that as a humans we are barely free of pretentiousness or ego, it’s rather in all of us, so why pointing it out on each other? It’s not really the point in it is it?"

"@Toasterqueen12 Who said I’m better? Who said my taste is giving me any authority? I just said that I belive that liking this music is possible for anyone ,you just need certain exposure and different approach to such music. I’m not sure why are you attacking me that way, it’s just like you are acting high-and-mighty here, not me. It’s about understanding art from a different perspective, not understanding art „better” In the end we all do have our own tastes, and i don’t want to force anyone into liking what i do, it’s just about giving any clues why one might like such music when the other one don’t understand it at all. Not sure why are you so angry about."

"@TomBejoy That’s cool enough, you don’t need to enjoy Feldman’s music, I just said what i think of it. Listen what you like🤍"
On TomBejoy's review of FLUX Quartet - Feldman Edition 6: String Quartet No. 2
"Classical music, including but not limited to Bach, can perfectly prepare your taste for understanding music hitherto incomprehensible to you, which you considered only as random sounds and did not see their beauty. Sometimes it is difficult to see what is in front of us because we think too straightforwardly, because we are used to it. Maybe I'm just speaking from experience and nothing can make you find something for yourself in this music, but as a person who has experienced a big change in taste, I think it's possible, you just need the right exposure, and catch a fascination for something that didn't matter to you before."
On TomBejoy's review of FLUX Quartet - Feldman Edition 6: String Quartet No. 2
"Your lack of enjoyment of this album stems from your inexperience and poor exposure to avant-garde music that contradicts everything you've ever considered music to be. This is normal, as I too once had problems appreciating this album. The person who likes this album and the person who, on the contrary, doesn't like it, doesn't understand it, differs first of all in the way he perceives music, how he perceives art and what matters to him, what gives him pleasure. Experiencing new music every day, and constantly going out of your musical comfort zone would give you the "tools" to understand this music in the future and to be able to enjoy it, to consider it beautiful and human, because that's what it is, because it doesn't have a specific form, a form that in itself is something not real, something that filled today’s music, filled basically everything. That’s why it’s so hard to understand the things that don’t have certain form, the form we are used to experiencing on a daily basis"
