This album is great. Cindy Lee (a.k.a Patrick Flegel) manages to utilize an impressive sonic palette to really craft a world of their own. It's a lovely world and yet so unnerving in a brilliantly simultaneous fashion.

Lee's falsetto sounds like a lingering presence in the midst of these textured atmospheric spaces that periodically pours layers of noise. This sonic contrast brings the listener into space of dissolutionment and dysphoria. It's almost as though Lee is expressing a desire for liberation marching through his own experiences with dysphoria to get there, and we're only getting a little glimpse of what it's like.
