Not even gonna listen to ts, I don't think I need to at all.

With all the talks of Rest In Bass I came to listen to some che stuff, and this is certainly a way to introduce myself. Its gangsta rap so there isn't too much to expect from it. Pushas flows are cool, Malice does his things too. Production is cool, sometimes they can get repetitive. It's nothing crazy, which I think fits cause it's not trying to be something big.

Holy crapola this thing suprised me like crayy crayy, the production on some of these is insane, there's so many little choices that make no sense but perfect sense at the same time?! It's all over the place and I can only commend it because it does it insanely well.

Listened to trainspotting while playing Minecraft and that was definitely chill, it had its moments. Oh Danny Brown where do I even start...
Some of the lyrics are questionable, but it's Danny Brown so it gets a pass. I started to get worried at the start due to the dip, but then it comes back and the second half of the album is pretty insane. Danny Brown is just one of those artists where you can almost never expect what's gonna happen, and that's what gives his albums a kick, for me at least.

Kenny beats pulls out some sort of MFDOOM type production here.
Really smooth production throughout the album. Kinda surprising vocals and flows from Denzel, some of the tracks do feel like they could have had more involvement from Denzel not really sure if that was on purpose. The changing of vocals to low pitched and high pitched was an interesting choice, not really good or bad off of first listen. Denzel really did pull off some good things here.

Mach Hommy man just put this on streaming some of these cuts are soooo incredibly good. Despite the 3k price tag the album is pretty consistent, there is very little to critique besides it feels sort of like a quick throw together of songs without much actual thought, not saying the songs are bad. The production on some of these are crraaazzzzzzyyyyyyyyy. Mach Hommy also just fits perfectly along with every single beat.

My first pseudo serious review

This album is perfect to say the least. The conditions at which this album was put out is already enough to make it a miracle project, and the contents inside don't disappoint at all either. It’s almost hard to put a real review into this because it’s basically impossible for me to describe how haunting, and jaw dropping each and every song is. Please listen if you plan on doing so.

lil darkie and good music in the same sentence?!?!?!?!?!!

I was actually really surprised when I listened to this for the first time due to Lil Darkies not so pleasant musical past. The first track alone gave me faith to push through the album and I’m glad I did. I haven’t listened to Darkie in years so I have no clue if this artistic evolution is a new thing or if it was warranted, but I really hope he continues to make music like this cause his edgy stuff just wasn’t it. ... read more
