Both beautiful and heartbreaking, sweet and sour, brave and also broken, Ants From Up There is simply one of the most magical albums I’ve ever heard, and a triumph of music as a genre.

Some of the greatest trap bangers of all time find themselves on this track-list, and the rest of the track-list is filled with equally high quality cuts with fantastic features. One of if not the greatest debut hip hop album of all time.

In my opinion, the best record from one of the most legendary ambient hip-hop producers of all time.

Graduation is an album that at times can drag, but ultimately the sheer volume of unbelievable highs make it a staple hip-hop record and instant classic.

Pusha is still one of the best pure rappers in the game, and on this record he combines it with the best production he’s ever been on, and a mean list of features who all bring major contributions to this record.

Lamar combines moving storytelling, unmatched technical ability, and gorgeous instrumentation to put together one of the greatest hip-hop records of the 2010s. good kid, m.A.A.d city is not only one of the most rewarding hip-hop projects in recent memory, it’s a landmark in the genre and in popular music as a whole.

Madlib produces some of not only his best tracks ever, but some of the most instrumentally lush and dynamic hip-hop tracks ever produced. Gibbs, in turn, brings one of the most inspired, unrelenting, and just straight up excellent performances on any hip-hop record ever.
