Apparently salvaged from a now-defunct internet forum, all information on this artist is now seemingly lost, which is a shame as this is a very effective piece of music. I guess it's the 2000s forum era of metal's equivalent of finding an old, obscure tape from an anonymous band.

Groovy crossover from Max Cavalera released on Nuclear Blast. My hopes for this were pretty low, but it pleasantly surprised me! Not too pleasantly though.
There are plenty of good riffs throughout the album in the fast sections, while the slow parts are mostly meh, occasionally dropping into pretty awful groove territory. pleasant if uninteresting, but 12 minutes is the perfect album length so it doesn't get boring

Hey! I checked the Winds of Egotism demo that you mentioned, and yeah, it definitely has a similar ominous/intimidating feel to it, especially in the choice of chords and the vocals, with a comparable atmosphere. Although I am more a fan of Aljina's vision in this microcosmos of black metal, WOE's demo definitely has lots of charm to it.
