Refused - The Shape of Punk to Come
With the shape of punk to come refused created a masterpiece, punk was never the same after this album, despite not seeing much success when it first released. Almost every track is extremely aggressive, and they're not afraid to take influences from other genres, a trait that was not really present in a lot of hardcore at the time. The whole time I was listening to this I was excited to hear the next song, because I just had no idea what they were going to do next. But even on a second or ... read more

Nirvana - In Utero
The first time I heard in utero was about year ago, I had just listened to nevermind a few weeks prior, and I was really digging it, so I gave this album a try. I was disappointed, the melodies sounded so much more basic, the guitars were so annoying, and the production seemed really amateurish. But after listening to a lot more music, learning a lot more about production, and overall, just gaining a greater appreciation for heavy music, I now see that this is one of the best rock albums ever ... read more
MALNEEZY - Wonky Odd Rhythms & Spastic Tunes
@Malneezy, you've made a pretty good album here, it's not perfect, but it has a lot of cool ideas. Every track is unique and memorable, even the ones I don't care for so much were really interesting. It's pretty all over the place, but with a name like wonky odd rhythms and spastic tunes, I get the feeling that's the point, and that kept me really engaged, for the most part. There were a few tracks that just didn't grab my attention like I wanted them to, but it was still a really enjoyable ... read more
ReMark ★ - Embrace The Failure
God damn! This is even better than claustrophobia! It's way heavier, and better produced, and mixed, the vocals are way better, the screaming is intense, and the cleans are pretty much immaculate. Also, that blegh got me going crazy. I can't wait to hear the album.
Paramore - Riot!
Pop Punk... But Good
Episode 3: Paramore

Before Paramore were known as one of the most versatile rock bands in modern music, they were a pop punk band, and a damn good one. Riot may not be as good as this is why, or even brand new eyes, but it has a lot of energy, power with almost every track. Everything here is on point, the vocals are always amazing with Haley Williams, and the instrumentals mange to bring a lot of pop punk charm without sounding like your typical blink ripoff. I don't ... read more

Fall Out Boy - So Much (For) Stardust
FUCK! THE FUCKING NA NA NA'S! THE FUCKING HORNS! THE FUCKING DATED REFERENCES TO THE PANDEMIC THAT HAPPENED THREE FUCKING YEARS AGO! I was really excited for this album, love from the other side was exactly what I wanted, it sounded like Fall Out Boy at their best, but the rest of the album didn't live up to that. This project is basically everything wrong with save rock and roll, and american beauty/american psycho, but without as many fun, interesting, or catchy moments. I feel so let down by ... read more

Awesome Favourite Albums choices, especially Kendrick & TURNSTILE

Hi, I'm E.J. and I like music, especially punk and hardcore, but I try to listen to a lot of different things.
Most of my reviews follow the same formula, which is this:
First I give my overall thoughts on the album.
Then I go track by track and breakdown everything I liked or didn't like.
Then I give a special mention to the tracks that really stood out to me, not necessarily the best tracks, but the ones that stood out to me.
