This dude is a bonafide rockstar. Each track just oozes with passion and talent, you can tell he's super into making music out of his love for it. And he's so young! There's so much potential here from such a talented kid, considering this is only his debut solo record. If there's a true rock restoration in the 2020's, he most certainly will play a key role in it.
Adorable voice, low key production, sad girl lyrics with an underlying focus on working towards optimism & self improvement; it's a cute little album. Good thing to throw on during a rainy Sunday or a late reflective night under a weighted blanket.
While it's pretty repetitive, generic, & dramatic, I do enjoy a few songs on here. There are some cool features from the likes of blackbear, Pouya, & Wiz, as well as more of a rock crossover with Good Charlotte. You can definitely throw some of these songs on a playlist and they would be good additions, but the album is kinda boring on a straight through listen. Give it a shot though if this sort of emo trap rock stuff is your jam.
This is awesome! I was hoping for some more melodic tracks like Morrow (one of my favorite songs of 2019) but it's still great. She has a wicked voice, a unique sound, some developed production; all in all it's a great debut record. Can't wait to see where she goes from here.
