Björk - Debut

Debut is the embodiment of Björk's artistic potential and a vast demonstration of her musical genius. In this project we obtain a eclectic variety of styles, including electronic pop, house music, jazz and trip hop. Despite not being the singer's best album, we have a lot of innovative and interesting material here.

The word that most defines this album for me is "fun", while the rest of Björk's discography seems more thoughtful and complex, Debut seems a more free and spontaneous project but still without losing the essence of the artist neither the cohesion of her works. I imagine myself dancing to this album in the middle of the night with my melancholy thoughts and letting myself be lulled by the melodies and ambient sounds of the album.
