Really good song and feature. Since this is dropped 8 months ago, I hope that the album is not canceled or smt. The rollout for this song seemed like the rollout for another album but since 8 months there is no sign of it. I also think that black thought is dropping a different project this year, which means (if we are getting an second album) then not anytime soon :(
Amazing album. Listened to it the past days and fully convinced that this is a top 5 album of the decade so far. Really enjoy the instrumentals and the features were outstandingly good. I also like Danger Mouses' way of not really only sampling but creating new choruses by incorporating talented features, which makes every beat truly unique and special. The album is creating a feeling of nostalgic, melancholic summer days. Super consistent, I do think some songs such as cheat codes, no ... read more
First of all I think Griselda is most of the time quantity over quality, even though I do like their members and flows etc. Saying that, this is one of the better Griseldas albums I really enjoyed. I would recommend it, really consistent but more in the sense of no high highs and no lows. Features blend in well, pleasant experience.
I knew that this Album is going to be bussing from the singles on already. I also think this is top 2 Staples albums. It is definitely something new from Vince and might not be something for everyone. For me it could be a bit longer but a really strong album. Fav: Blackberry Marmalade and outro of gorilla. Least Fav: white flag. 88 For me
feeling a nice 84 on this one, constantly good and I really appreciate the experimental rap direction. I feel like resounds like a mix of JID and Baby Keem. Surprisingly I think that 7eleven is overrated, as well as test me. Really think the rest is dope, Be what I want, and street car and the first half are all bangers. Nothing revolutionary but super fun listen.
Holy rollout. this one reminds me of of Shame on the devil but with better lyrics. Both singles are exactly the fresh wind I was craving in the scene. Not as good as good as Blackberry marmelade but still a strong 89 fo me. Man icl hyped af
What an experience man. First of all the cover is somewhat perfectly fitting to the kind of mysterious, distorted, retro vibe. I also love the transitions-- two simple things that already elevate the score of a project for me. I think some of the highlights here was the highly sample based, simplistic production. Some moments, it felt a little bloated. Least favs is probably What U say U are and dambe, Favs are Ho-rizin, mussel beach, burning desire, golden hour and Set the Mood. Would ... read more
Nice album, I think this is his best project so far. The first listen was amazing but it got quite repetitive after. I feel like sometimes he could have put a bit more effort in the the project in total (e.g Cover art is not appealing at all and gives EP vibes) and there is something I can't describe (I think it reminds me of my study playlist from the beat section and the sound), but still really strong piece of music. I give it a strong 86, recommending it--good stuff.
Nice record, adds to this (as a European, not really feasible) prom night where you see all your past relationships, crushes and friends one last time until everyone is taking other ways. I do enjoy this passionate vibe of Tory Lanez and give him credits because this was definitely unexpected.
Favs: The color violet, Pink Dolphin sunset, Midnight interlude
Amazing record, and I love the concept behind this album. The small radio kind of interludes and stories, that kind of sum up your life that you are listening to when you are between life and death. Some weaker moments as well but since it all fits in the vibe I absolutely love this one. Big recommendation is to check out the vinyl art which sums up the project better than this homeless vibe album cover.

love this refreshing style of Jim. The samples and lyricism goes well together with his melodic voice. Some tracks feel nostalgic such as 06 Wayne Rooney or Sun, others feel melancholic and thoughtful. features were alright, although the Dave feature did not live up to the potential of these two at all. I am looking forward to see more from him especially of his versatile styles and hope we going to see his first album soon (same chaotic vibe would be cool but with some transitions and fine ... read more
just love the style of Demo Genesis, somehow goes really well in peak Summer or darkest winter nights. Alc beats never disappoint and suit Demos flow exceptionally. Strong guest appearances as well so really solid album.
Fav: Till the angels come, drugs got me spiritual
Expected a bit more, can feel repetitive for some people. I still think it is suitable for a certain vibe and a background album if you vibing or need to get some work done. Idk how I feel about the surf gang tags all over and the repetitive sound effects they use, since I highly doubt anybody will listen to specific songs (no standout tracks) only but the whole album (to catch a vibe) thus it doesn’t make sense to interrupt this experience by mentioning the producer every minute once. ... read more
My favorite Mac album. It's an album to listen to when on vacation or if you are in your thoughts and dreams in general. What's the use might be top 3 Macs. Overall addictive
I love this style hope to see a bigger project soon, idk what the point of splitting the record is, ig to make it two LP with album vibes. High energy which is always good!
High Highs and Low Lows. In general a really fitting soundtrack to a great movie which elevates the rating for me. OG cudi vibes. Willing to trust, can't believe it, Do what I want and Mybe so are strong (above 8.5) the rest is middd.
Dons best album. Backstreets is a fucking masterpiece (really like the dreamy vibe of the song). I liked the general vibe although Im sometimes fed up with these repetitive lyrics.
Super strong LP. Yachty really on a run since LSH and this one, hope to see more of both styles
Giving his passing, this album is really touching. I do think that those posthumous records are not 100% what the artists wanted it to be (mixing, trackless etc.) but still a strong(!) album. Fav track: I can see
