shes in the ashton doing donuts
also a few of these songs kind of sound like old fnaf songs in the best way possible
Extremely catchy beats and flows the lyricism is really good and a lot of it is relatable to me (always gives it like +10 points I wont even lie.) The mix of the more calming hardcore and energetic is done really well. You can really easily see the influence of other recent new age rappers like this though, but I don’t know of many yet so this genre is still a cool novelty to me most of the time. This album is like how Issbrokie does being corny, but instead of being some slightly mid ... read more
This is some of the best Sigilcore esc production I have ever heard, and with Acid Souljahs rapping its just extremely enjoyable. Also very very funny, some of these features are definitely the lower points though. I like the chopped and screwed sped up and slowed down. Just overall really fun.
This album is entirely a super fun and cool listen that makes your brain feel good. There is the introduction and 7 which really are not that good. The synth pads or whatever thats called on safety is really awesome sounding, and the mixing of genres on all of these songs is just done really well in my opinion. Electroclash, Witshhouse, and Digicore being together is near perfect.
U can tell the artist put something into all of these songs, and they all sound very satisfying. I like the ethereal sound a lot, and I feel like this ep actually trying to use different sounds with the production, unlike some other new releases lately. The various instruments being used on each song like the stringier ones on the first one and the faint piano really adds to it. The lyric layout is really catchy as well.
This is really really formulaic to me and I cant explain why but he has a really nice voice and producing for the most part,, I just feel like the digicore scene is probably lacking in innovation lately or something like that cause I can't really name one new interesting layout I heard on this album except for his voice sounding good. I know I sound like I'm trying not to like this or something, but I really did try, and its not that bad just its so alright thats the only way to put ... read more
He didn't upload most of these for very good reason it seems (also I fucking hate it when incelcore people just copy other incelcore oh my god) There are 2 good songs its just that I literally turned it off before I could finish the last 2 cause it was giving me a headache
This score is mainly based on enjoyment not actual quality but I really loved this album. I didn't like how it was mainly singles but they were really good songs regardless. This album actually has my already most played ever song on it. (Sabotage) The guitars sound rough grating and stuff, but that really adds to it for me at least.
Last project everything felt very disconnected, but now that has changed marginally. The production is really, still good better probably the beats are way more captivating and some have a trance like quality, the vocals no longer sound offputting. The transitions are really cool, and I like the way they had the anime outro sample or whatever that was at end.
I really enjoyed this project. Its breakbeat drum production was really really cool, and Quinn and the other guy did a good job on it. Something does feel a little empty about this though probably the scattered nature of the way the songs are laid out, one being 2 minutes the next 30 seconds. Quinn does this way too much.
A really awesome release from Kuru. Kurus sound has certainly improved and their blending of various genres of rap has gotten WAY better. I feel like the last release leaned heavily into the cloud rap more ambient side of digicore, but this one definitely explores various sounds way more.
I found this one to be really fun to listen to. The flows and more atmospheric beats created a nice experience. Not one of Bladee’s best projects but still an exceptional rap album. I like the songs heavier on the synths a lot more, especially the 8th one. There are definitely some ass songs on here though Best Buy was just him grumbling at me about best buy.
I never really actually got the chance to review a Quinn project. She’s been one of my favorites in the scene for the longest time now. I really like Quinns works and this album in general cause I think it is a good representation of that concept in the underground I’ve heard talked about recently where the best songs can be listened to at their best or worst, so they have a melancholy tone I guess. I think that applies with this album a lot if not almost the most out of ... read more
Dude! You weren't tapped in when music the art form had 4 monthly listeners!?!? I actually bumped this with Socrates pre execution
Jokes aside I kind of like to listen to this type of stuff while reading and its calming so that makes it good in my book. I think these are also some of the first melody's ever or something like that so that makes it pretty influential and interesting. Its just nice melodies played with string instruments, and I can definitely appreciate that.
Music that makes you eternally daydream and feels like a dream with no particular direction. The hazy static filtering go hand and hand with the Vaporwave, HexD sound to make a ethereal blend I haven't encountered on another project quite the same. The slower ambient underwater sound adds a lot to the music as well. This project isn't without its issues though as a lot of the songs are not super special and like 40 seconds. All said and done its a really nice cloudy haunting sound ... read more
