Destin Laurel or, perhaps, Destin Yanny?
Preface: This is only my second occasion listening to Mr. Laurel. I first heard of him through his song tenten, which i thoroughly enjoyed.
That being said, this album is great. First album in a long time where I don’t really have adequate verbiage to describe the feelings this album gives me. Just hit my ears in a different way than most music has hit the last 3 years or so. I personally loved the combination of his vocal performance and ... read more
Osama son? Osa mason? How the fuck do you say this. Let me call nettspend
Preface: this is beyond my scope of music knowledge. First time hearing osamason ever is this album. I despise most of nettspend, and the fact that they’re associated gave me low hopes.
That being said, my hopes became reality. I would call this album “new-Gen rage” , an excuse to mumble and croon horrifically over an amazing beat. So amazing beat + tasteless verses and hooks evens out to a tolerable, ... read more
No jokes out of respect for a fallen soldier. Truly carried my middle school music listening experience.
Preface: juice wrld is nostalgic at this point for me. Goodbye and good riddance is a modern classic for its respective genre. Death race for love was an awesome follow up. That being said, another example of label mishandling. I get what ... read more
They may happen to be in line with similar behavior to me and my company(wait they like us?)
Preface: I am a kendrick lamar amateur. Listened to TPAB, some of damn, some of GKMC, some of section 80, all of Mr. Morale, and now this. I am by no means a glazer, but I would say the guys got some talent. Definitely could rhyme orange with door-hinge.
That being said, this shit does get me going. I have let it marinate the last week or so. Some stuff grew on me some stuff grew off, but not very off ... read more
Don’t get on this tee guys bad side he had 8 songs about robbery. You’ll be 9
Preface: I’ve been with tee grizzley since first day out. I’ve seen the highs and the lows and every project he’s dropped I have tuned into to some degree. Love me some tee sometimes
That being said, Mr. Grizzley had provided an album that had its fair share of good songs. It is 24 songs tho which, to me, is bloated for an artist who typically sticks to 1 maybe 2 distinct styles. ... read more
