This album is little bit forgotten by myself, but I must admit it's freaking decent. Showbiz and Muscle Museum are in my Muse top 20 songs of all time at least. Unintended is top tier in the category of ballads. I fint second half of the record little worse than first, but still really enjoyable. Great debut album and nice warm-up for the next release, which would became breaking point for the band from Devon.
Perfection, what can I say more. With BHAR they found perfect mix of poppy track, ballads, hard rock melodies and simply amazing bangers. This album reached out to wider audience, but it also remained ambitious enough with tracks like Map Of The Problematique. No brainer, most successfull Muse album, no bad song on there. Each one is classy. I find this album as one of my three favourite albums of all time. Knights of Cydonie - their best song out there, personally I fucking love Assassin, even ... read more
To be honest, it was the first full album I had listened to from Muse. I was blown away with the singles, first time hearing Psycho was really memorable. Dead Inside, Reapers and The Handles are amazing, simply jumped into Muse classic's cataloque. Mercy is too cheesy, but it's fun on live concerts. Defector and Aftermath also decent songs, maybe not that good like those mentioned before, but still enjoyable. Matt has stated that Globalist is CE 2.0. Well, it's not. I has similar structure, but ... read more
God, I wish that whole album was like its first songs. Amazing beginning with real bangers on Dark Side and Pressure and fun instrumental on Algorithm. Propaganda is pretty bad, especially in the chorus. Break it to me gives hope, it's really fresh song with likeable arabic influence. Something Human is too cheese for me, I prefer its second version, acoustic one. Thought Contagion is great in the verses, but chorus reminds me too much on Imagine Dragons. Get up and Fight - the worst song ... read more
Anything they've done in their youth years is really pleasant for me. This album, third one, is worse than their previous LPs. But still really good album, with some classics as Pretty Visitors or Crying Lightning. Potion Approaching also really, really decent track. Secret Door and Cornerstone another mastepieces. I really like this album, despite the fact that it lacks the energy from previous records. Nevertheless, another enjoyable album from Arctic Monkeys.
