Honestly just an amazing album. It sounds like being drunk with your mates and not really knowing what the fuck is going on but having a great time. They use the same samples between songs, but it feels less lazy and samey as one might expect and more like fun motifs. Ignoring the controversy attached to this band (the fact that to my knowledge every member is problematic is impressive for any rock band let alone a shitty YouTubers passion project), this is Lovejoy's best album. Juxtaposing the rest of their discography, which whilst being inspired comes across as a bit boring, Pebble Brain is sincerely fun and catchy.
