Archspire - Too Fast to Die
88

Holds up just as well as their previous albums in my opinion! As always it is insanely swift and catchy, the lyrics were really fun to follow along to as well. (I lost where I was a couple times)

Why Patterns - Regurgitorium
70

Songs to induce schizophrenia

Chat Pile - Cool World
85

I am a canine now

Chat Pile - God’s Country
100

87 > 100

I can't wrap my head around how much this album has grown on me, looking into the production and the themes of what these guys were going for has me seriously impressed, definitely my new favourite album as of Feb 2026.

The Ocean - Phanerozoic I: Palaeozoic
100

Edit: 92 -> 100

I have had a chance to listen more to this album and it's individual tracks, it seems to never lose its spark.

Full of Hell - Trumpeting Ecstasy
85

Boom boom in my ear holes

Why Patterns - SCREAMERS
80

These three bois make big nois

Statik Rein - Statik Rein
60

This is not music followings the norms, not for casual consumption. Statik Rein is simply a testimony to auditory punishment, a brutally honest representation of the artist’s refusal to compromise.
However, within the unrelenting harshness lies an intricate architecture of sound, one that rewards close listening with moments of terrifying beauty.

Swans - The Seer
90

What a fucking journey. Didn't know what to expect, except for some experimental noise, but this shit rocks. Love the emotional rollercoaster this has brought me on.

Meshuggah - I
90

I like the funny tikka masala band

Pound - ••
90

Eargasmic, would love to experience while tripping balls, 10/10.

Fleshgod Apocalypse - Opera
66

Love the opera style in symphonic metal, goes well together as always, but the mixing on this one is wack. It just aint fleshgod anymore.

Hail the Sun - Wake
100

This is what heaven sounds like

Haken - Fauna
80

65 > 80

Xanthochroid - Of Erthe and Axen: Act I
84

Love the blend of soft fantasy like melodies and some powerful prog metal

Car Bomb - Mordial
76

72 -> 76

The Ocean - Aeolian
85

Love the old metalcore sound compared to their post-metal nowadays, pretty cool.

Meshuggah - Destroy Erase Improve
100

Best Meshuggah Album without a doubt in my mind. Even without a great mix, it is just pure goddamn dopamine every listen. Kickass, polyrhythmic mind-fuck of an album. These guys were ahead of their time.

Meshuggah - The Violent Sleep of Reason
88

Probably my favorite Meshuggah album besides Koloss, no track is bad on this album, raw af.
