I enjoyed the grandiose flourishes that ended many songs. This album prioritises lyrics & vocals with instruments very much playing support. Lyrics a bit too much on the nose and I prefer a bit more edge to my listening. But kudos to TMC for knocking out that difficult sophomore and taking it somewhere new.
