Knew about this album from Trainwreckords and stumbled across a vinyl copy of it a bit ago. The cult classic/sleeper hit out of The Carpenter’s discography. A great display of not only Karen’s beautiful vocals, but also Richard’s skills as an instrumentalist and producer.

Phenomenal album from a minneapolis trans icon. I wish more people knew about Venus De Mars and her career, she’s an absolutely powerful musician. So honored to have seen her perform live last year.

This album is very special for me as it’s the first new vinyl I ever picked up from my favorite local record store 4 years ago. When I walked into those doors and looked around in awe of the record store, they had this album playing on the store’s record player.
