Fall Out Boy is a band I've always been surrounded by, and I've always tried to give them the benefit of the doubt when it comes to their music, but I think this album proves that I just dislike them. This is by far their best material of theirs I've heard, even offering a couple tracks I enjoy quite a bit ("The Pros and Cons of Breathing", "The Patron Saint of Liars and Fakes"), but even then I think this album is just okay. Apart from the few tracks I enjoy, most of this album is a sloppy blend of pop melodies, punk instrumentation, and Patrick Stump's annoying vocal timbre. He's definitely the most tolerable on this album, as he's not constantly wailing on vibrato like an overdramatic theatre kid. All-in-all, just feels like a collection of mid to alright emo pop tracks set to bland pop punk most of the time.
