Album ain’t even been out for a full day and some of yall already spittin some bs… GET EM OUT🗣️
While I’ve genuinely enjoyed a good majority of this album… it doesn’t really feel like an individual Kevin Abstract album. This is definitely an attempt at, not making a new group, but creating albums within a spontaneous collective. If you’re expecting a complete solo project then yea this may not be for you fr.
I feel yall be expecting too much fr. ... read more
I see a lot of people hating on this and as a fan for a few years now, it may not be his best work but it’s a fun project and I genuinely had a great listen. This gives me vibes of driving around with a bright hot sun and everything is saturated from the sky to the trees and whatever else you pass by.
House and Hip-Hop/Rap is not a new thing to come into fruition as it’s being done by more lowkey artists and mainstream artists but I will say… this is more original than ... read more
My first listen a year ago… this felt like a copy cat or more reinvigorated version of “Don’t Forget About Me, (Demos)” which isn’t a bad thing but in terms of being considered an album or a part of Dominic’s discography, it’s definitely a more experimental project for him to see what connects with fans and what connects with mainstream audiences as well.
While it’s not great it’s still good and there’s some songs that feature the ... read more
Ik I’m late to this review but idc…
As a fan of Remi since 2021, when she dropped Photo ID, this project still holds the same true sound I’m used to but idk if it’s just pure nostalgia or something else that makes me feel this album doesn’t follow up fully to “Juno (2021-2022)”.
Great mixture of sounds and ofc Remi sounds amazing as always but there’s just certain tracks here that don’t hit for me and it’s not really anything to do ... read more
Not my favorite project, but there’s some great things working this small project.
Production is great and is definitely reaching to be something different compared to what we usually get within this genre. Some of it sounds simplistic or similar at points but then there’s a tracks like Rush or All Night and you can immediately appreciate this project a bit more.
Great vocals and instrumentals but feel there could’ve been a bit more. Regardless it’s a smooth listen ... read more
I see a lot of Frank comments being made.
NO THIS IS KHAMARI!!!
Been a fan since A Brief Nirvana (2023) and I can easily say KHAMARI is doing what he does best and delivering AMAZING music.
The appeal is obviously there because he does sound similar to Frank, thats not something we can lie about but… his music is a great fresh breath of air in a time where everything feels like a copy and paste of each other.
Can’t wait for what’s to come, hopefully an album.

I’d be lying if I said this wasn’t one of my favorite and best listens this year so far. I’m ngl I have this on my Top 5 for this year.
I have nothing bad to say about this project really. SAILORR sounds amazing and the instrumentals themselves could be a project all by themselves.
She doesn’t showcase crazy vocal range but she sounds so beautiful on every track. The only 2 tracks I personally didn’t favor were the short interludes and even then those ... read more
Super hype for this new JID album but I gotta say… this isn’t my favorite single or song he’s dropped. I wouldn’t say it’s terrible but it’s definitely not great.
Definitely a good song but it just feels very simple… there’s nothing really unique here. Aside from JID’s verses, theres not much more here. This song almost feels like a movie trailer song, it’ll definitely be viral all over TikTok or the internet but I guess I was ... read more
Catchy and is most definitely a bop but it’s not my favorite song she’s dropped so far. Song by itself I give a 75 but with the visuals I could bump this up to a 80 for sure.
Like I mentioned it is catchy and there’s a lot of great things to take away from this song, just isn’t something I can see myself playing all the time.
ATP, anyone not taking her career serious needs to get their head checked.
Loving how unique her rollout has been for every single and now the ... read more
A newer fan to Malcolm but I have to say… I will definitely be a fan forever.
Late to the party on reviewing this album but it’s genuinely one of the better projects to release this year. So full of emotion and and catchy sounds. This almost gives me real early 2000’s vibe. It genuinely just sounds so pretty. A lot of my favorite songs so far this year on this project alone. CHEER ME ON, DOLL, WHO’S THE FOOL… ITS ALL PERFECT.
THIS IS MUSIC!
Stereotypical song that is deep and has relatable lyrics but comes across way too corny
There’s gonna be “fans” that hate this project and praise WLR like it’s the second coming of Christ. I’m here to tell you as a longtime Carti Fan… since the beginning of his career. This is MILES AHEAD of WLR.
There’s actual substance here and personally, I feel, there’s more to enjoy if you’re more of a mainstream fan. The issue I’ve had with Carti the past few years is mainly the fanbase acting like Carti is “niche” ... read more
THIS A VERY COMMERCIAL SOUNDING POP ALBUM.
With that being said, there’s still something to offer. It’s not unique or creative in any way and often times feels that certain songs drag a bit too long. Vocal performance isn’t there all the way for me, and some of the vocal effects added to Tate’s voice just don’t hit or feel like it’s way too much to be doing.
Like I said it’s very commercial but even then, there’s still songs here to enjoy but ... read more
I feel people are giving this a hard time and realistically you have to look at this face value for what it is.
It’s not bad, It’s not unique, this feels very JVKE. The great thing about this track is he stays in his lane, the bad thing is he doesn’t seem to go further than that and sticks to what he’s good at. Which can be a good but also bad thing as well.
Not the worst song I’ve heard this year and seems he’s trying to push a certain sound or aesthetic ... read more
THIS ALBUM A CLASSIC IN MY HOUSE!
After years of being a Ady fan it’s time I finally put a review in. Honestly the first line is more than enough to explain my rating and review.
Even being a young teen when this came out it’s been a major key to much of what I listen to now. This album even after years of it’s release feel new, refreshing and unique. Great vocals by Ady himself and the way it’s all orchestrated, this could’ve easily been an instrumental album ... read more
This is by far not the worst thing I’ve ever heard but it’s definitely not the most original thing either.
It’s a very easy and calm listen as it’s super similar to a lot of the music you hear in the Indie/Alt/Pop genre. It still holds a bit of uniqueness but nothing that is completely mind blowing or will leave you amazed. There’s still great songs on here it just feels somewhat empty almost like more could’ve been done.
The production is good and Martin ... read more
This was the first time I’ve ever heard Hope Tala, and man was I was sleeping on her heavy.
As someone going in who previously had never heard her music I wasn’t expecting much. I was blown away to say the least. This album has been in rotation the past 2 days and each listen I find something new I love about it.
I’m not gonna lie, I found this on my Apple Music browse page and legit only clicked it because of how much I liked the cover art. Aside from that ... read more
I’m new to AOTY so a few albums you may see pop up on my profile may be from a while ago just due to the fact I never got the chance to review them.
This is genuinely one of my favorite Alternative/Rock projects to be released to date. While it may not be perfect and some songs didn’t or don’t exactly hit for me… there’s so much Willow offers vocally and even production wise.
This was one of my most listened to projects in 2022and is still one of my most ... read more
I’m not the biggest fan of either of these 2 fr… I can’t lie. Regardless of that I was still intrigued by what they could bring to the table for me…
A chill and laid back album that, for me, has some memorable production and bars. Larry and Chainz really did their thing but I personally felt they fell short on some ends for me. Alchemist production is great but just in general some songs didn’t hit for me and idk if that is because of Alchemist or because of ... read more
