At first I hated this album because of the mix, but then I looked at the album cover (strange monster in the sewer) and I realised that the mix is meant to sound like it was recorded in sewers. Good stuff

Ehh its decent, when I first listened to it I really enjoyed it, but the more I listen the more the shitty lazy guitar solos molest my ears so yeah. Its kind of just a better version of their first album, but theres nothing really bad here, (except the solo on rancid amputation) just a whole lot of average.

Interesting album, one of the more unique releases I've listened too. Vocals are extremely abstract and strange, however when you consider the context of the deep lyricism, and deeply horrifying-HP Lovecraft type poetry within each song, then the vocals fit nicely; actually it is difficult to imagine the vocals being any different to what they are be honest.

Honestly if its your first time listening to grind core this is an excellent introduction. Nothing bad here, however I must say this album is seriously outshined by their later works. (Harmony Corruption) Also if you didn't know their is a mcdonalds logo next to 'scum' on the album cover'

This is a fucking great album. If thrash metal was a mountain then this album would be the summit. Nearly flawless album, with some of the best guitar work I've heard.

This album is absolutely crazy, and the album artwork perfectly fits the feel of the album. The songs on here are borderline death metal, and absolutely crazy. Would highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of slayer as this band is germany's awnser to slayer.

Great album, not really anything to deep, just a great album to put on and head bang to. Some awesome riffs on this album. Obituary is a one of a kind death metal band, with a unique sound that anyone can recognise.

A true death metal classic, a huge improvement from scream bloody gore. This album is full of complex, riffs, and the drums on this album are killer. This is one of my go to death metal albums and I highly recommend this to anyone who is into that early death metal sound.
