Drake - For All The Dogs

I’m back and I’m better. Drake's back and he’s….. pretty much the same.

Surprise! I decided to come back to reviewing earlier than I said just because I felt like it. Taking a break from reviewing really made me miss this dumb website.

Going into this new Drake album, I knew it was going to be long, and probably would need an excessive amount of me paying attention to it for its entirety. Obviously there’s no better way to get back to reviewing than having to go ... read more

Even if this project isn’t groundbreaking by any means, I’m still impressed with how good the vocals are and also just how much of a fun take on traditional pop it is.

One of the most potent things I’ve heard all year. Rest easy man
MIKE - Burning Desire

The most I’ve enjoyed a MIKE album yet. Would love to see him continue in this direction.

Still shocked with how consistent, surprising, and still well rounded this project is.
Danny Brown - Quaranta

A lot different from the other stuff I’ve listened to from him. I still liked everything about this project though, from the production to the flows. I guess I just wish things were maybe a little more wild like on some of his other projects.

Yeah no problem! I'll recommend some of my personal favorites:

• Injury Reserve - By the Time I Get to Phoenix
• E+E - The Light That You Gave Me To See You
• Basic Channel - BCD-2
• Burial - Untrue
• Three 6 Mafia - Mystic Stylez
• Kota Hoshino - Evergrace

Would love to know your thoughts if you decide to listen to any of the albums (:

Also, ZZ Ward’s ‘Til The Casket Drops’ and Jojo’s ‘trying not to think about it’ are little gems I hold dear as well

My go-to is Kacey Musgrave’s ‘Golden Hour’, but you’ve already listened (glad you liked it)

So instead, I’ll recommend Adele’s ‘30’. A truly remarkable pop album from last year, 30 feels lush and luxurious to the ears and is one of Adele’s best projects yet.
