Slipknot - .5: The Gray Chapter

I know Custer got a lot of traction on TikTok because the bpm and percussive patterns make it feel like a girlboss slay theme instead of the hardcore metal atmosphere they were going for. But, like... the whole album is like that. It would be juvenile of me to remove the 'R' letter out of the second word from the title, but this really feels like the zestiest and most quirked up Slipknot record of their catalogue. Look at the skeleton on the cover, its look filled with desire and lust and its enticing and vulnerable, yet confident and enveloping pose!
