Feldman Edition 6: String Quartet No. 2

Fragmented beauty at its finest, Feldman’s 6 hour String Quartet II is filled to the brim with cerebral wonderment as the Flux Quartet conjures up some of the most hard to stomach, yet simultaneously beautiful classical passages I’ve heard in a while. The experimental appeal here is in leaps and bounds, but it takes a keen ear and open mind to find the true magnificence here.
