Not making a full review of this (yet) because it's midnight and I'm trying to limit my consumption of this band. A shortened version of my opinions: Cornerstone is a masterpiece, Catapult is a masterpiece, Sketchead is great and Fright Lined Dining Room is a masterpiece that is better than either of the first two.

Music Twitter has its' darling albums, and this for sure is one of them. And, in all honesty, I cannot blame them, not one bit. Twin Fantasy is genuinely something special. By the end of its' 1 and a bit hour run, I felt like I'd been on an absolute journey, had multiple existential crises, cried a lot, and that's only on the second listen.

It took a while, but I've finally been able to circle around and actually make a review of this album. I had intended to do this much earlier, however a lot, and I mean a lot of shit came in the way of me being able to write any reviews for a while. Yes, this technically shouldn't count as an Arctic Monkeys album, but you can't really review their entire discography and not at least talk about the demos. As this was never an officially released collection, rather a compilation of demos uploaded onto the net from 2003-2005, there isn't really a definitive tracklist, so I'm going to go by the one from the 2014 recompilation attempt by the wonderful lads over at the Arctic Monkeys US forums (which is basically the same as the one here on ... read more

I think we have the same two best albums of all time being ‘favourite worst nightmare’ and ‘plastic beach’ and I think that’s so fucking cool, really nice taste ;))
