"Luminescence" by fellow AOTY user jbjohnston2011 is here and it marks a significant improvement from his past work.
It's finally here. I've been anticipating this for a while and given the average performance of his first EP, I was excited hearing the lead single "Wait Up" knowing that we were in for something crafted much better, and this debut LP is exactly that. Built with a bolstering 27 tracks, there's a lot to unpack here and such early in his musical ... read more
Never heard anything like it. This guy is next up, definitely give this one a listen.
The instrumental sounds like if the word "Howdy!" was an iPhone ringtone
production on here is great and the album overall makes me feel like i do drugs so i guess cloud rap is doing what it's supposed to?
Lorde and ScHoolboy Q collab incoming?

The album has a lot of connections to emotion, family and self-reflection, which is this entire album. Self reflection. Therapy in which we see Kendrick express who he is, most notably how he feels about himself, his thoughts, his ... read more
SO much better than the album version...the guitar at the end + short instrumental ending gives so much more to the song.
