Not sure if it was anything to do with the accompanying video, but this song just felt absolutely packed full of emotion for me. A beautiful track that really builds up excitement for the upcoming album!
A surprisingly strong album! I was expecting something completely different, but Rebecca hits us with a seriously energetic and intense electropop release! It certainly makes you want to move and whilst it isn't perfect, it certainly is fun!
I actually found this quite annoying to listen to, not Panda Bear's best work by a long shot. Underwhelming.
He reminds me of Mike Skinner, if Mike wasn't utterly unbearable.
Regardless, this is a really chill listen with a fun little charm to it. Not the most amazing thing you'll hear this year, but definitely up there as one of the more enjoyable!
Honestly, I'm not completely convinced - something about this album just feels lacking and I'm not entirely sure what. It didn't captivate me the way previous bdrmm releases have, and a couple of the tracks fell flat for me personally. Still some strong moments, but I think I was expecting more - maybe I set the bar too high myself!
Personally struggled with parts of this album, but it is a wonderfully open, honest, and beautiful listen at times too
A downgrade from his debut, mostly falls flat but it's not bad at all. Just all a bit generic and meh, which is a bit of a shame because there's some real potential for MLB for sure
A pretty bizarre album, and one that on paper is pretty poor but absolutely wins you over with pure charm.
It's pretty much everything I want from Model/Actriz - dark, broody sounds with a deep dance groove and some haunting vocals. The chorus was unexpected but I think it works perfectly. Very hyped for the upcoming album!
Mike Skinners cataclysmic falloff reaches new lows here - this is one of the worst tracks you will hear all year, utterly atrocious and an embarrassment for The Streets
