I'll say this EP is very immersive. "Vanity" reminds me of The Cure and Rachel's voice is just perfect, each second that passes increasing the intensity. "Cape Perpetua" gives me Flying Saucer Attack vibes, it's beautiful and could easily be the intro for an album. "The Skin and the Glove" is just plain 90's shoegaze, but with Drab Majesty's touch, epic swirling guitars, the acoustic guitar being mostly responsible of the wall of sound, the bass line just hits ... read more

Absolute fun, energy, intensity and creativity.

This album is so... Immersive that yeah, you can get lost in it. It has a stronger and more pronounced sound compared to Deserta's first album. I should say an improvement, with more tricks under the sleeves. The only thing I should say about this albums is it's ending, it feels kind of rushed, but I think it still works pretty with, taking into account the fact that "Lost in the Weight" begins with an intense an direct intro.

Thier most ambitious, epic, intense, dramatic, beautiful and disturbing song... Karly's voice is sooo perfect. Hope this is a tease for their next album, I'm thinking it will be perfect, :3.
