HMHAS is an album that released months ago that I simply forgot or just pushed away that I really shouldn't have. Billie's singing on this project is some of the best we've gotten this year really only being pushed back by one other album.
My favorite on this album is 'Wildflower'. This song's singing is genuinely beautiful and the backing instrumental compliments it perfectly. This song already has 200 million streams but to be honest it should be streamed way ... read more
Was never a big fan of Kid Cudi in the first place but honestly this is pretty ass... Album manages to feel like a drag and I genuinely wanted the album barely halfway through. Can't remember anything from any track except maybe a little bit from the features that also managed to carry the entire album. Not planning to listen to the 'sequel' anytime either. Individually rating the tracks would mean listening to this again which I desperately do NOT want to do.
I keep trying to get into Death Grips' music, but it just honestly doesn't work. This album fucking sucks and I'm most likely not changing my thoughts soon. I tried to be as generous as possible but only like 2 songs are somewhat enjoyable. The production is simply not listenable and I probably won't be coming back to any of these songs. MC Ride yelling unintelligible words in my ear for 40 minutes straight is simply not enjoyable music. This shit stinks sorry not sorry
Absolutely love this album. I genuinely don't know why Ghais hasn't blown up yet with how fire his discography is, and this album proves it. Each song is so well rounded and thought out that there really isn't any stand out song that manages to be better than everything else. This album is consistent with amazing production and rapping and I really can't think of much wrong with it. 'Luminescence Peers Thru Their Confinement' manages to be the weakest on the album ... read more
Doing this in one take because I genuinely don't want to listen to this again. I'm glad rappers like Polo, Roddy Ricch, Lil Tjay that peaked in 2019-2020 have fallen off because Jesus Christ this album is a snoozefest. Polo doesn't try anything new on this album and it's just the same weak rapping over sometimes actually decent but mostly mid trap beats. The first track 'God's Favorite' gave me hope in this album just to disappoint me with his weak rapping and ... read more
Album of the year for me. For my first beabadoobee album, on my first listen I didn't know what to expect but honestly this album is genuinely amazing. This is the only album that's released this year that I have enjoyed more than Vince Staples' 'Dark Times' released a few months ago. My favorite tracks are 'Take A Bite', 'Real Man' and 'Beaches', while my least favorites are 'Coming Home' and 'The Man Who Left Too ... read more
Not the best in his discography but the most iconic and important.
Holy shit this might actually be the worst album ever. Production ass vocals ass lyrics ass voice ass everything ass cover ass like there is nothing to enjoy about this album at all
This album is a guilty pleasure to me. The album itself is pretty eh in terms of quality & consistency but there are a lot of bangers on this thing.
Kanye still hasn't topped this to this day. 10 tracks of genuine peak and his LAST 10/10 album. I ❤️ Yeezus.
Definitely an outsider in Kanye's discography but still a good album nonetheless. It took me a few listens to really get into this album but DAMN it is good. Not the biggest Cudi fan but he does pretty good on this album and neither Kanye or Cudi carried the album.
Love this. While I still think this is the weakest of the trilogy, this still manages to be better than most of what came after it (except for Yeezus).
This album gets saved by the second half of it but that still means you have to get through the mediocre beginning 10 tracks to get to it. TLOP isn't bad but I feel like it's just all over the place. Even though I think it's a 7 the random highs and lows without much consistency really brings this one down.
It's just okay I guess. I somewhat enjoy most of the tracks on this but this entire project comes out as one of the weakest Future projects in a while. WDTY has done nothing but grow off of me since it came out, simply because of its boring repetitive style for 17 tracks straight. Metro has some of the best production in the game rn and this album wastes it on basic trap beats with even more repetitive lyrics from Future. Obviously you don't need to have the greatest lyrics of all ... read more
This album grew on me a lot. When it first released, I did NOT like this at all but after really giving it a chance I enjoy it. Obviously, this isn't LSH 2 but it's still a decent project nonetheless. Main issue with this project is Yachty's vocals... they're pretty weak compared to James and are the main weak point of this album. I hope I can come to like this more in the future but it's fine how it is now.
