2020 gave us album number eleven from infamous Detroit rapper Eminem. This is his tenth consecutive album to hit #1, making Eminem the first artist to achieve this. This is also his first album to be inspired by the legend himself, Alfred Hitchcock.
This is a really big step in the right direction from the piss puddle that was Kamikaze, but that doesn’t make this album the best thing ever. Sure, this album’s got much better production, great features, and much better hooks (for the most part), but that doesn’t take away some of the problems that Eminem has developed as of late.
Eminem is still angry and bitter, and thus decides to make an album about him being angry and bitter. He still throws shots at many people, and some of the lyrics are still terrible. But when you get somebody like Eminem, of course he’s gonna have those problems.
