Classics on classics!
A Tribe Called Quest is one of my favorite rap groups of all time, with amazing flows from everyone and Q-Tip’s top notch production. This album is the defining moment in their career, with absolutely zero skips.
This album cemented this group’s status as one of the most important artists in hip hop after their debut failed to live up to the group’s expectations. Phife Dawg and Q-Tip both have amazing rhymes in this album, with Q-Tip rapping about thinks like positivity and black pride.
The production has a very minimalist and jazzy sound and used low frequency sounds, hence why this is called “The Low End Theory.” The production makes this album a classic, and you can hear its influences on albums that came afterward.

The only reason The Low End Theory isn't a 100 for me is because it almost had Georgie Porgie (I think that's what the song was called) on the LP, I still have it at a 99 nonetheless

Top tier album. Possibly the best from the 4 albums released in a 24h timeframe, but for me its Sceamadelica.

@Shaze1 About Georgie Porgie, yeah, it's not good of a song because of the context of it, but thankfully, the label refused to put in the final product of the album because it would ruin the album's quality, of what would otherwise call it as a classic hip-hop album.
