Graduation

I’ve had a complicated history with that album. On bad days, I think this album’s not good. On good days, I love this album. My feelings about this album are so fucking inconsistent.

This album is very of-its-time, even with how good the production is. Most, if not all the songs sound like a product of the 2000s, and honestly, that’s okay, because most of the songs still hold up anyway.

This is where Kanye experimented with pop and electronic sounds, and clearly it pays off a lot of the time. None of the songs feel overlong, which is a relief. Most of the features are really good, too.
