First off, fuck Ameer Vann. That’s all I really gotta say about him.
BROCKHAMPTON is a music group I’ve been familiar with for a while. I’ve been a big fan of their music too. But what is it about this album that caused it to grow off me some?
This album is inconsistent. This album starts off strong with the first three tracks. One hits really hard, one has carefree vibes, and one has great pop culture references.
Then we get to the sea of bad skits and mixed qualities. Some tracks are awesome, like BUMP, SWIM, and CASH, while others are not so great.
The last 3 tracks of the album are absolutely amazing. This is most likely one of their best 3 track runs ever.
The members’ chemistry is a lot better here than on ALL-AMERICAN TRASH, with many iconic moments throughout the album that bring everyone together.
Overall, if we were to get rid of some of the tracks here, this would easily be a 90+ in my opinion.
