The most masterful work by the greatest jazz artist and saxophonist of all time. And also, as much as much as I admire the variety and joy in The Creator Has A Master Plan's instrumentation, I can't help but to find myself more moved by the spritual swelling of Colors.

The first time I listened to this it left a void in me. I genuinely couldn't process it because of how CRUSHING this thing is. That speaks for itself.

If someone needed any proof that Geese are the best new band out of the USA, well, here it is. A complete step-up from their last record, 3D Country, an already wonderful project, Getting Killed is more chaotic, fun and forward-thinking. Cameron Winter's vocals reach their peak, but it doesn't look like he's stopping here. One of the best, most creative vocalists out there. Peak stuff.
