I love this album. Incredibly consistent and has no filler despite the long run time.
Unfortunately, while there are parts of this album that I like and I respect it a lot, I just can't really seem to fully get into this album.
I've never been a massive fan of Paak, but I've always liked him. The production on this album is fantastic, all of the singing features are great, and the rapping features didn't quite live up to FULL expectations but were good for the most part. This is probably my favorite Paak project that I've listened to, I really like his voice, his rapping was great on this album, and I found him really funny on this album, especially on the last song. Overall this is a good album and I'm sure his fans ... read more
How have I been sleeping on this for so fucking long?
Short and sweet. Lyrically and flow wise I was pretty damn impressed. IDK is next up for sure.
Started off really good and started to sound samey. This album could've been SO much better if 5 or so songs were cut from the album. However, I did mostly enjoy this album and will probably be going back to a lot of the songs.
Lots of really great classic songs, and a couple duds. While it is a classic if a couple of those duds err shaved off of the track list this album could’ve probably been one of the best rap albums of all time
Used to think this was overrated. Now it's one of my favorite albums of all time.
Unfortunately, I wanted to like this album a lot more than I really did. It's sort of a mess of an album with little strong structure to me. I will be returning to it to see if my opinion changes, as it's one of the more interesting albums I've heard.
Radiohead's most stripped back, somber, and saddest record. Whats really amazing is how they're still evolving as a band and making amazing music this far into their career. Absolutely beautiful work.
Less polished than Welcome To Forever, but in my opinion slightly better. Logic seems slicker on this album, more like Sinatra. Most of his bars are more creative and a lot less repetitive. There are one or two skippable songs (Do Ya Like, Aye Girl). But other than that, this is prime Sinatra Logic.
If you know me, you know I used to stan Logic very very heavily. I'm going back to his old shit that I loved and see what I think nowadays.
Logic showed crazy potential on this mixtape. As a tape, it's a mix of pop logic, and lyrical slick flow logic. In truth, Logic's bars are pretty basic most of the time and he reuses lots and lots of bars, and after years of listening to him do that it becomes less and less enjoyable. But nevertheless, I still really enjoy this mixtape. Logic's flows are ... read more
Before we start, RIP Ameer's time in BROCKHAMPTON. Even though I guess he was caught doing some fucked up stuff (I read a little more into it and it sounds like he was more of a bad boyfriend and a cheater more than anything), and I wish he wasn't kicked out of the group. He's kind of fallen off the face of the Earth since he got kicked out and I hope hes doing alright. I hope he gets over whatevers going on and maybe rejoins the group one day because he was one of my favorite members.
