King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - The Silver Cord
70

Guys, by electro music we were actually asking you to use electro guitars more, not synths

Radical changes of sound is not a weird thing for King Gizzard. They are known for experimenting with sound every.. uh.. half a year. This time they are trying out synths.
The production on this one is pretty good, especially keeping in mind they are new to this sound. I guess they are just good at pretty much anything.
Oh, and dont get tricked by its 2 hour length. The album is 28 minutes long. ... read more

Kristin Hayter - SAVED!
90

This album is a horror movie.

Gotta start of with a little remark: This album is a huge question of taste. You probably wont like it.
Anyways, i did like it. First song literally made me shiver and sit in horror. As it went on it got just more eerie and pressing. Thats what i like about Kristin (aka Lingua Ignota). Her music is not made to please its listener, its made to make its listener feel. Feel the horror. Feel the horror of what she is singing about and what she went trough.
I did not ... read more

Rick Astley - Are We There Yet?
60

Pleasent Rick Astley vibes.

This album is definition of OK. Just OK. Not much to say about it. Type of songs you'd hear on country-based radio
Its not bad, nor its way too good.
12 songs long and all 12 songs are written in same manner - Love or broken heart. Atleast some of them sound good and all songs are not utter trash. You can sit trough it without skipping

FAVOURITE: Dippin my Feet, Maria Love
LEAST: Golden Hour
Overall: 6/10

blink-182 - ONE MORE TIME...
40

A comeback no one had been expecting.

5 songs in and i already got a headahce. This is so overproduced and overloaded. Not sure why, i guess it was always blinks thing. Well, this album brings me 2000s vibes and i dont like it. Never loved anything related to pop-punk music and guess i wont ever.
Really all you hear most of the time is weird white noise they call music and drums. Loud drums. It makes 95% of songs sound the same, or really close to sounding the same. Same guitar riffs (hard to ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - Flower Boy
90

This album makes you question your sexuality

After Cherry Bomb dropped Tyler was on a really low ground so he had to step up his game. Thats just what he did.
From overloaded (sometimes WAY TOO MUCH) electro guitars and dirty beats to pleasent, orchestrated sound. And classic instruments suit this album in the best way possible. This album is thoughtful, soulful, beatiful. Stepping away from conceptual WOLF trilogy into more intimate field of pen-work. Tyler shares his worries about who he ... read more

I, infact, do not want to hear this

Danny Brown - Tantor

Blud finally paid off his debt and is coming with another hopefully awesome release

Westside Gunn - And Then You Pray For Me
50

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM SKRRT DJ DRAMA HOLIDAY SEASON (GANGSTA GRIZZL)
BAP BAP BAP BAP BAP BAP BAP BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM
thats one of the minuses - ridicilous amounts of add libs. Somebody finds it funny - i find it annoying
Gunns voice does NOT sound great on trap beats. Plus he only knows one flow troughout whole record.
Leaving that behind - the actual beats are great and sometimes even originaly, Madlib-like produced. The features carrying whole album

FAVOURITE: Mamas ... read more

Sampha - Lahai
100

Once again Sampha has blessed us. Been waiting for 6 years and gotta say it was worth it. Now we can all say Sampha won the race against Frank Ocean lmao
6 years Sampha had been polishing his skills, taking his time to make a PERFECT album that will be liked and loved. His vocals are as always on level, even as 6 years have passed they still give me goosebumps. Production and beats match his voice perfectly. They are calm yet a little anxious and depressing. Now to the writing. Second time ... read more

Travis Scott - UTOPIA
70

My first Travis album so i had almost 0 bias towards it. Couldnt compare it to Astroworld cuz i didnt listen to it lol
That aside, this album on first listen fits almost perfectly into the ganre of experimental hiphop. Sometimes weird but catchy production, radical changes of sound on almost each song. This song provides equal amount of bangers (FE!N, HYEANA, SCHIZO, LOVE) and more thoughtful depressing songs (SIRENS, I KNOW ?, PARASAIL, TIL FURTHER NOTICE...)
Now to the rapping. Well, it just ... read more

You dont listen to this album, you experience it. In my opinion, the peak of experimental rock.
To perfectly experience it, close your eyes and lay down, you will notice how you start to feel like you are levitating. The mix of various sounds and overloaded guitar never sounded so pleasent. Some people wonder why are the vocals so low and in the behind even for shoegaze. My answer is that this album is not focused on astonishing its listener with amazing vocals. It does the job of amazing the ... read more

Mount Eerie - A Crow Looked at Me
90

A beatiful piece of art from a coping man. This albums mirrors to you all the emotions Phil experienced troughout his struggle.
A journey that will take you trough all 5 stages of grief. It almost feels like you are sitting in one room with Phil and he is personally singing them to you, pouring out his soul.
Nothing is eternal. At the end - we need to carry on and cherish time spent together

Favourite track - Toothbrush/Trash
Least (still awesome) - Real Death
Overall - 9/10

Tyler, The Creator - Wolf
70

It honestly amazes me what storyline Tyler managed to put into his 3 first albums.
Watching a video breaking down the story made my jaw drop, cuz on first listen i thought Tyler was just trying to get attention with his weird lyrics (he still were, it just got some context now)
Also the evolution of his production on this album is very pleasent to hear. From FLStudio beats, to orchestrated and properly mixed sounds.
Yet there is a big minus. Like any tv-series, this album has filler songs that ... read more

Madvillain - Madvillainy

Words cant describe how incredible an on another level this album is for hip-hop. Best production i ever heard. MFDOOM blows your mind away with how he rhymes and writes. Listen to this album

If you are bored from all the ''cool'' rap beats, this album is for you. Ive never felt so much fun listening to music

Tyler, The Creator - IGOR
100

A production masterpiece. A storytelling masterpiece. A rapping masterpiece.
Its a masterpiece. Fantano is so wrong for not giving this 10/10 just cuz RUNNING OUT OF TIME is worse than all other tracks
Hits harder when you recently broke up with someone

Favourite - IGOR'S THEME
Least (still really good) - RUNNING OUT OF TIME
Overall - 10/10 (MASTERPIECE)

Kid Cudi - Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager
80

My favourite Cudi album. Coming back to this after SB2H was like a balm for my soul.
Its the sounds of being high. And it sounds awesome. The story-telling and beats are on another level. Yet there are some misses

Favourite - Scott Mescudi vs. The World
Least favourite - Marijuana
Overall - 8/10

jaimie branch - Fly or Die Fly or Die Fly or Die ((world war))
90

This is incredible. An awesome triumph to Jaimie.

Drake - For All The Dogs
30

Not sure why drake has a thing for 20> song albums. Also not sure why spotify got all the ''no-no'' words censored but ok.
(Listening)
Wow. This is something indeed. Starting off really great. Except for Calling For You. Fear of Heights - IDGAF: Best part of the album hands down. Yet after this it slowly turns into CLB Chapter 2. Why the sudden change? The beats are so bland its a lullaby. The flow is so boring you dont want to listen to what he is saying. You can literally pick out any ... read more
