When I first heard that J. Cole's latest album was going to be 24 tracks, I shivered. Do we really need that much Cole??? Having listened to the album a couple of times, I can now confidently say, no, no we do not. However, what I did not expect is that of 24 tracks, only one would end up on my playlist.
The Fall-Off Isn't a bad album, It's just a boring listening experience. Theres nothing exiting to this. J. Cole literally does the same thing hes done in all records prior. ... read more
Gorillaz nails what makes them so special with this alubm. A perfect blend of electronic funk with pop and rap blended in. Its just always exiting to see. Demon Days is especiallly exiting as it does feel like the prototype to later records, especially plastic beach. This is simply the charge up

The Dark Side of the Moon is an album that demands to be listened in its entirety. The composition and cohesiveness is too magnificent to ignore. This has gotten me very excited to listen to the rest of there discography.

I am finding that Charli xcx albums grow on me overtime. I initially dismissed her self tilted album as a basic pop record. However after a few listens I can feel the more experimental electronic elements that are all over brat. In my option 2/3rds of this album are straight slappers, however that 3rd leg leaves a lot to be desired. The music sounds lazier and sonically I was left disappointed, especially in comparison to the first 2 legs. Overall still a good listen, albeit one that overstays ... read more
The Boy Who Played the Harp is either filled with introspective and personal hits or mediocre melodic performances. When Dave is in his conscious bag, I think this album is really good, but when we hit the melodic radio tracks, the music just doesn’t stick. Still, there’s no bad tracks, it’s either amazing or alright.

If this is Radioheads “Happy Album” I’m convinced Radiohead fans have no idea what happiness is.
Nevertheless In Rainbows is an excellent album. Tracks like Weird Fishes and 15 Step have a light and bouncy riffs that are great to vibe to. Meanwhile tracks like All I Need and Nude?? Videotape have these beautiful piano riffs that make me feel like I’m levitating. To me In Rainbows is a collection of the best things about the band, contained in a 10 track, 42 minute ... read more
It’s this a sugar rush album - definitely
Do I still enjoy listening to these tracks even months later - Yes
At a certain point it’s time to admit it’s just a good soundtrack to a good movie. This ain’t even a guilty pleasure anymore, I be playing this anytime, anywhere.

Listened in preparation of the Springsteen movie. I like it enough but I’m not a huge country guy, so not a lot is sticking. Maybe I’ll revisit when I explore Springsteen a little deeper.

This album is an accomplishment. What JID does on The Forever Story deserves all the praise. I think tracks 1-9 are brilliant, but the album does slightly dip, but still a must listen.

For a 12 track album that’s under 40 minutes, this thing draaaaggggss. Basically she be horny again. And I don’t know what’s with these weird country infusions, but they ain’t good

If God does like ugly, he’d hate this album, cause ts beautiful.
On the real, aside from the weak middle run, this album is brilliant.

I love to see Quadecca succeed, but this album is kinda “I’m 16 and this is deep” ahh music. I got respect for the concept but the “climb” was quite underwhelming.
Sisyphus is a certified bop though

Tyler came through and gave us some shit you can dance to. Not Going to Lie, albums like DON’T TAP THE GLASS are definitely my thing. A short under 30 minute album that’s pretty consistent and goes dummy hard, what’s not to love?
While I don’t think this album has Tyler’s best tracks, it’s an energetic album that is a fun welcome to Tyler’s Discography

I don’t know why anyone messes with Push ever. This man radiates 🔥 🔥 🔥 24/7.
This album is everyone on top form. The songs go hard, the feature delivers, the beats are classics. Just a reminder that Clipse passion for the game is unmatched.

Lotus is a great album. She is clearly a talented rapper with great verses. The only major fault In my opinion are the hooks. They are either forgettable or they weigh the rest of the songs down.

Lonerism is a comfort album for me. I will always happily walk home from work listening to this banging album. My only criticism is the album fizzles out by the end, but when you have such a stacked start from ‘Be Above It’ - ‘Why Won’t They Talk To Me’, it’s hard to compete.

Hail to the Thief is a bit surface level for a political album, but it is catchy and it goes hard. I guess I don’t need much else

The end of the Weeknd latest Trilogy, and honestly it might be his most impressive. The transitions are soo smooth, i barely feel the 84 minute runtime (although it gets a bit rough from Opening Night to Given Up on Me). While it may not have as many stand out tracks as After Hours or Dawn FM, it still is incredibly consistent and a commendable project.
Let’s see if the movie lives up to the music. (I heard it’s really bad)

Out of all the Pop girl albums of 2024, Short n’ Sweet is probably the most basic. It’s not a bad record, the songs are very catchy, but it’s the album with the least personality.
